did anyone ever answer this question? what did u mean by check rule? body check? nfhs(national federation of high school) says that body checking of an opponent who is not in possession of the ball or within 5yards of the ball is illegal.
body checking of an opponent from the rear, at or below the waist is illegal
body checking of an opponent who has any part of his body other than his feet on the ground, is illegal.
if a player who is about to be checked turns his back , jumps or moves in any manner to make what appears to be a legal check appear illegal, no foul is committed by the player applying the body check.
under any circumstance a player cannot initiate contact to an opponents head and or neck with his stick or any part of his body(elbo shoulder head) any follow thru will be considered a violation of this rule. this penalty is a non-releasable foul and time served of 1-3 minutes depending on the refs judgement.
i know PAL only allows body checking to an opponent who has possession of the ball.
also us lacrosse has changed the youth rule from 5 yards to 3 yards on all stick check, body, checks, legal holds and legal pushes known as the 3 yard rule. i hope this is helpful
