JB is actually a good coach and I'll give him kudos because he is not a parent coaching his kid or coaching a different age group at the club where his kid(s) play. But he lets his personal ideas of who he wants succeeding on the field cloud who is actually producing and it leads to frustration and hard feelings. It's a trap that a lot of coaches fall into. If the sun shines on your kid it's great and you love that coach. But the amount of damage done to girls' careers when a coach deems them not worthy or not good enough is devastating. JB falls in that category. That's part of the reputation
