That’s club directors waving the white flag. Their teams have historically been unable to compete at the top level of play during the high school years (Legacy Taz being the exception). The 29 Igloo team was supposed to be the next great thing, even being ranked #1 in the country at one point and the club owner spending for all sorts of extras for them, but their best offensive players all left this season leaving the team in a tough spot and the remaining families still looking around for an exit.
With the new 3D Alliance League, which is pitched as an elite tournament and alternate to the NLF that both of those clubs sent all their AA teams to, they both need a wider net to cast or they will finish at the bottom in that tournament every year during the high school years. The two clubs had a combined 28-41 record at the AA level at that tournament across all grades.
