They only played one Long Island team this season and sat out Queen of Long Island. Let’s stop inflating the dormant ones.
Why place importance on the Queen of the Island tournament? Did any teams in the top 10 even attend this Y/FLG event ?
It's a small event and the 6th and 11th place team did. But more importantly, the 91 moms on here have previously used that tournament to declare their kids "queen" or "best" when they show up and play (and do well). You can't have it both ways where you say it's significant enough to crown you queen one season but insignificant in the next season.
I tend to agree with you that the event has become rather insignificant though, if that's what you're saying.
