Glad you ask that. Here's what parents on the sideline need to understand so they stop pressuring their kids to go to goal every time they touch the ball. A dominate player is the one who controls the game. Heavy redefending, ride pressure, ground ball hustle, pass defense, transition passing, feeding, decoying, timely slides, and basically making everyone on the field around them better. A girl (or boy) can completely dominate a game without ever scoring a goal herself, although they usually end up putting a goal or two in themselves. No one is impressed with the girl who scored 5 goals because all she did was "Go to goal"" every time they touch the ball. If that's your daughter, correct it.

What's a matter everyone didn't get a fair shot at tryouts? I'm surprised... Now you are sad because your kid will be stuck playing for a team that you made fun of not to long ago.

So funny. People complain that the teams are set and no one can ever penetrate the walls of the politics of YJ. Then new people make the team from outside the cult and now it's not fair because the kids that were on that team should be entitled to a spot because they drank the kool aid. Pick a side of the fence and stay on it or you make it obvious that your just unhappy with anything that goes on.

More 2017 girls han ever before. Very very good players. Heard some parents say hey did not pay TG full deposit, left a piece of change just n case. Maybe that's why rosters were pulled from TG site for this age level, waiting to see who will join our family or who will fear the bee..

I saw a couple of new faces in the coaches/directors group who seemed to be taking part in the 2019 evaluation. Any idea who these guys were? Someone said scouts, which I find hard to believe.

1 guy there might have been, the TG dad, listed as coaching the 2020 team, with 1 also playing 2019. The other one is "NOT" a coach.

Then why was he involved in the tryout process? I don’t see any new coach on the coach list. Just curious
