Now, as for your critique of my grammar, I’m truly grateful. Nothing screams “elite” quite like taking the time to nitpick a casual remark on the internet. Clearly, the bar for meaningful engagement has been set at correcting typos rather than addressing the actual point.

I sincerely hope you didn’t attend a private school, because if this is the best your tuition money could produce in terms of wit or depth, someone got shortchanged.

You must be one of those classic Baltimorean's whose first questions are, “What school does your child go to?” “Where do you live?” and “What do you do?” All great talking points from someone clinging to elitist status symbols as if they mean anything in the real world. Bravo

Are the age restrictions still a thing? My 2028 is my youngest and we're not going to reclass regardless so I admittedly haven't been paying much attention, but I thought I'd heard that tourney organizers and even HOCO were already backsliding on age restrictions.

Yes.
The people who ask what school you go to are usually nouveau rich or just middle class. It's the first time they ever paid for tuition and want to let you know. It's a big deal to them.
They are the same parents who chose a kid's school by the cheapest tuition price. People like us, with real money, don't concern ourselves with such minutiae.

What happened to all of the reclass talent that was going to FCA and Crabs? What happened to all of the talent that was leaving Madlax for Next Level? All are now irrelevant when discussing the top teams in the country. Hawks will likely return to the top 10, but gone are the days that they are challenging for the top team in the country.

I had never even heard of this insane idea of "planning to hold back, so he's gonna play back now, in advance of that future, maybe, decision to hold back" until we played a series of tourneys in CT and MA and the parents were yapping all about it. That's one reason I LOL every time the NY dads pop up with their "Maryland holdback" comments. We see you guys. We know your kid is in 10th grade and playing on a 9th grade team.

Philly, MD, and LI will suffer most, but at least the star 2028 players from our region all have their drivers licenses/permits now.
I mean it also has something to do with the fact that CT has the nation's most respected prep/PG boarding school programs for lacrosse.
I mean how many times do we have to see Crabs, Madlax, True and other clubs do the exact same thing(s) they always do, over and over again, and then be all shocked about it. Crabs only takes on more teams to make money and aggregate more talent to their AA team. If they don't get high level talent to move to the Crabs AA team, they stop investing in the team, coaches, etc. Ie how much has anybody heard about the Crabs 2028 B team this fall.

The guys who run and coach Clippers are the same guys who run and coach Team Eighteen, out of the exact same office. The rosters already intersect about 50%, I would absolutely anticipate that Clippers will always bring in bench strength from their national players who are willing to fly east for the weekend.

And honestly, so what? This is what 91, Crabs, Madlax, True National...heck EVERY national team...do in High School. How many CT boarding school kids need to be on MD rosters, never showing up to practice, for you guys to realize that this was ALWAYS gonna be the final product. "We develop elite players" lol.
