NY woman told other team they don't belong at that table as it was reserved for another team, and then it turned into, "Oh, we don't belong because of our skin!?". Typical outrage victim response and paint the white woman as a racist. Express was right to not even acknowledge the race baiting. WYSL on the other hand did the woke thing and condemned it despite it being 100% their fault for terrible planning for the banquet that caused the whole issue. Move on. Um...OK Karen....multiple sources see it a different way. Typical white privilege talking here. Hope your outrage doesn't keep you awake at night. You're a headache!

Then, don’t you think she would have said “you don’t belong here” meaning “at the table” to anyone other than Express people it was reserved for!? I think she would have lashed out at anyone other than Express team that was sitting there? Just saying

Its just that it was said to the wrong person and most definitely the lady could have been more diplomatic. She didnt think or care about what she was saying , how it could be construed and by whom. She confronted the wrong one. Play notIntelligent games get notIntelligent prizes. I mean nobody likes bossy jerks, also y she is being destroyed. Everyone is entitled to an opinion on this we got the full spectrum.

From how it sounds… I really think she would have talked to the pope like that if he was in her sons seat!! So, don’t believe it was racial! Also, the son should not feel any repercussions from the team or people regarding this!!! He is not at fault!!! Many kids have really dense parents! Kids should not suffer from their parents actions.

It’s just so funny how every club has its nay sayers. I will say one thing with Express my son has fun and likes his teammates and the parents are pleasant to be around.

What’s your point? Is reclassification not allowed? Is travel restricted to just Nassau & Suffolk? That’s the model that a lot of the top clubs follow to make sure they are putting an elite team out there. Can’t do it from just LI, way too saturated with so many clubs. Do I necessarily agree with that…no. I would prefer to have my son on a team with friends from the area and see them all at practice regularly. But that is the state of play in lacrosse. National teams are being built locally.

Do all clubs not include winter training or practice in their fee any longer?

Do all clubs not include winter training or practice in their fee any longer? Express East has it included. They practice all winter at the Stony Brook indoor facility.

Even the rankings mean nothing 75% of the teams never play each other it imperfectly perfect regardless of schedule strength plenty of times you see one team ranked higher than the other even tho head to head the higher rank team lost to the lower ranked team . It’s somewhat directionally accurate but far from 100% accurate. Its just another marketing hammerhead for the organization if they rank high nothing more than that

Rankings are rankings like them or not. And based on fall results are in line. A lot of teams take on lighter schedule, especially HS teams because of football.

Its just another marketing hammerhead for the organization if they rank high nothing more than that By the end of summer after the National Championship NLF and the event run by Top Lax our at SUSA is when it accurate. Because that is where most of the “top” tier AA and A teams come to play a 3 day event and Top Lax event. The NLF does have competition with the ALL championship that same weekend as well. S2S and Legacy are members of that. But either way all the top teams are playing that weekend and the Tues/Wed. These are a lot better in terms of competition than Crabfest and Naptown imho. But I will say IMLCA in Florida packs some great competition as well.
