Futures is without question both A. a regional "all star" team (several players from NJ, MD, DE and even NC) and B. better than any team in MD. However, outside of Futures, the only other competitive philly team is Dukes who is essentially on-par with most MD "elite" teams. Comparatively, of the 8 teams that Maryland fields in the HOCO elite division, at least 5 are as good or better than Dukes. Without a doubt, if those 6 teams (Hawks, ML, NL, Crabs, FCA, TC) put together an all star team, it would not be a surprise to see them beat Futures. Credit to philly lax for fielding one of the top 29 teams in the country but claiming that equates to philly dominating maryland is a leap too far.

Dc express will have far shot, depends who they get this winter. Crabs connived the league to allow their “special” students, but haven’t played well yet. Hawks still lack a respectable offense but seemed to add size on defense, plus they are on their 3rd coach in 3 years. 91 and Predators found some talent somewhere and will probably find some more before spring. Do you remember who was getting stomped on before you started your all star Philly team, tri state team or national team where the older boys stand out (see WS results). If you were all from Philly it be one thing, but your not! So you are putting DCE in??? Who ya taken out? True NOVA also chirping to get in, maybe HOCO adds a 4A division this year??
