Silly bracket setup. Jesters should have played warriors , same division. Express East should have played Titans. Chip game was waste of time for both teams Is the Express East team any good? Someone else called them a money grab. Seems like they are a tier below Igloo, Rebels and Chucks on LI.

My son has played against Express East and they are a good team and well coached. I heard there were some issues last year with inconsistencies but that they’ve been corrected.

So why so many claims that Rebels, S2S, Igloo players will soon flee to Express and Team 91? Is it just wishful Express and Team 91 parents?

So why so many claims that Rebels, S2S, Igloo players will soon flee to Express and Team 91? Is it just wishful Express and Team 91 parents? Because it's happened many times in the past (e.g., most recently with the 2029 Igloo team). But it doesn't always happen and it's certainly not a given. Express and 91 are good at poaching players and will frequently make a lot of promises when doing so. But they are also historically very successful programs with long track records of success (even if you disagree with their methods).

Because Express Chucks and 91 don’t want to admit that Rebels Stealth and Igloo Winter Soldiers are better teams/programs for 2031.

So why so many claims that Rebels, S2S, Igloo players will soon flee to Express and Team 91? Is it just wishful Express and Team 91 parents? This thought process is not new, and based off of previous precedent. LI Express and Team 91 have traditionally attracted the top kids staring around 6th grade into high school. The reasons vary, but parents think it gives their kid a better shot at a catholic high school, and/or greater college opportunities. Many people point to older Rebels, Igloo, and others teams as examples. Maybe the rise of national teams and a continued decline of events like World Series will prevent the exodus, only time will tell.

Rebel and Igloo game is up soon. Chucks and Titans will be kings of the island Been hearing that for a few years now. Time will tell. Right now, 91 is not exactly an attractive destination for anyone. Some of those Dads with their tight @ChillLaxin shorts and polo shirts are a little much to deal with. The look like they belong at Bushwood and not on a lax sideline.

Updated rankings. I think it's pretty impressive that 3 of the top 4 teams are from tiny Long Island. Some of the other teams are pulling from an entire state or tristate area. (Yes, I know rankings will fluctuate and I'm not trying to argue who the best team is. I'm just proud of how competitive our area is.)

The only thing I can think of is that the coach cares more about his 2029 team and doesn't want them double booked.

Not sure why not in the fall. Only decent match up they had this fall was the West Coast Starz.

Why? Doesn’t seem like much change. I think the Top teams coaching is a major difference. Look at Chuck’s, they aren’t great but beat some good teams earlier just due to their coaching. some of the teams in Too Ten aren’t coached the best and rely on big talented kids. That shakes out soon. Go LI Lacrosse!!!!

Shore gets lol even though thy beat #2 in a championship, #10 (literally crushed), and #11 twice? They lost 2 players as one came back, and Gained a 2nd FO/middy. One of the two seems to regret paying to riding the igloo bench, the other kid was out of action this fall. Roster has always been lighter than the $ grab teams with 27+. If your kid needs playing time, I can guarantee it’s easier on shore to earn some. Parents have no say in anything at shore. They only did one tournament because GC kids couldn’t make first tournament. It was a lighter/91 fall type tournament that they would have won, if the Mercy rule was not to remove the FOGO.
Good luck, S2S parent signing off till May!

Chucks annd Rebels are overrated. Chucks best win is beating a slow but powerful/big Towermen team which hasn’t looked great this fall twice. Rebels have a few bad losses already as well and got dominated in those losses. It’s all about match ups in this youth lax world. However, i do agree with the Top 2 so far, next level and Igloo. Both made good offseason moves and play fast which is the difference right now.
But to rank some of these teams in Top 10 is a joke. Upstate, 2 Way and Primetime should be in that discussion.

One game over 10 goals this fall, averaged less than 7 goals a game. Igloo is a lot of really good things as a team, playing fast is one of the few things they don't do well.

Igloo parents need to quit cheerleading, starting to sound more like stealth parents. Igloo and Stealth will dismantle. I’m sure you write back and detest this theory but the express train is coming down the tracks fast. When coach C makes the move in a year or two there will be nothing left of igloo or Rebels teams. Say what you like, but it’s inevitable. 29 alpine drift was number 1 last year. They are now a B team and a shell of their former existence. Fact
