They have them on offense and defense. You are late to the party.

How many do they have? Have they been with the team long?

Express, 91, S2S are becoming as bad as the out of state programs with holdbacks.

I had to laugh at this one....being that there is only really one HUGE attack on chucks I am going to deduce who is being referenced. My son is not on the chucks, or express for that matter....we do know this family well and what I can tell you with absolute certainty is my son has an early June 2010 birthday (younger side for a 2028), and this attack you claim is a reclass is YOUNGER that my son. You people need to stop making ASSumptions about things you know nothing about. I'm not saying that others aren't reclassing, and you can all choose to feel however you want about that. But stop spewing stupidity when you truly don't know what you are talking about.

S2S played well this weekend-first 2 games weren't that competitive, but 3rd game was. Were down early, came back and won 6-5. Not sure about the goalie situation. 1st goalie is definitely better than the 2nd goalie, not sure why that position is the only position where 1 plays one half and the other goalie plays the other. I know playing time is important but what if goalie #1 is hot...team is much improved from last year. Yes, my son is on the team and has been for a few years. We've been through the ups and downs, and last year the coaches asked us to trust them when they cut half the team. Brought in some new mids/attack/poles from various clubs and it seems to have made a difference SO FAR. Hoping it continues.

S2S went all the way to DE to play B teams and went 2-1. Should have saved their parents the time and money on that trip.

So this group has two years of club left. Let’s talk about reclassification….again and again…it’s HS now where often 8th and 9th graders play 12th graders.

Goalies split time because they are most likely to get hurt and they are hardest to recruit because not many kids play that position so you have to keep them happy. Might want to play some AA teams before you claim that you’re a good team.

They played in the bottom bracket, and played all b teams, nonetheless the teams they played had a whopping 1 win combined. They beat 3d ne b teams by 1 goal

Someone has been on here stating that they are the # 3 team on the island

Why not get people triggered

Top 2 91/express
3- leg rush red
4- igloo northmen
5- s2s
6- btb
7- triton
8- leg rush white
9- gsb
10- dune dawgs

S2S dad here again-nobody is saying that we should be top 2...but, this is a different team from last year. The coaching is the best i've seen since we've been here. Said the new additions have made an impact SO FAR. HOPING IT CONTINUES. Can't do anything about the teams we play. I was always under the impression that bracket placement in the Fall was based on how teams finished in the summer. We didn't finish well. Tons of injuries, lots of losses in tournaments. My HOPE is that we will play in better brackets, against better competition. Can we beat either of those top 2 teams? Probably not...the rest? Yes, I believe we can and we will when given the opportunity..

Your coach is the Director of the program and is paying to have numerous teams in that tournament. S2S is also a member of the A.L.L., if he wanted you in a different bracket he could’ve had you in a different bracket. He wanted 3 easy wins to start the year, you got 2.

So what you’re saying is your coaching and training is subpar since they had to cut half the team in order to get the team better.

What I’m saying is they brought in a couple of new coaches, and THATS why the team is playing better. Gotta lot of rocket scientists on this board, huh?

This is 9th grade lacrosse. The only thing that matters is whether your son is playing or watching. These people getting all wadded up about fall tourneys need a new hobby. The best players will know where they are going the summer before their Junior year and get a call on Sept. 1 that year. Everyone else that wants to play has those next 2 seasons to figure it out across 3 NCAA Divisions. Slow your roll or your kids will despise you (if they don’t already).

Well said. My son and I just had this convo this past wknd. He knows he’s not a top tier D1 player, but still wants to play in college. I told him, have fun, be a great teammate, continue with your grades, and you’ll have many more opportunities than I did when I graduated high school.

I am hopeful that parents on here are getting some return for their money, not being satisfied that their kid is wearing an Express sticker or 91 sticker, and never seeing the field. Great coaching + playing time = positive experience. You need both. Good luck to everyone this season.

Agree. You can’t get recruited from the bench. And you can’t start chasing prospect days and signing up for every showcase email you get….waste…my opinion, but been there…The best exposure comes from playing with the correct club, that enters the correct events, and is a team that your son is playing on. And by playing, I mean is he on the field of one goal game with 5 minutes to play. The time of justifying my son practices with the best and gets better…is over. Playing time is everything imho.

Hardly anyone has even heard of those first 2 teams. 3rd game was close and that was against 3D’s B team. This was a waste of time and money. If you want to know why you lose to the big teams this Summer just remember this tournament and others like it. You didn’t challenge yourselves! Express/91 play the best competition over and over again. Your coaches wasted your time and money going to Delaware playing non competitive teams.
