As long as you ignore when they regularly ... don't Exactly. A Quick Look over at Inside Lacrosse, and you get the rankings of the 3 respective DMV teams often discussed here. Madlax is firmly at the bottom in 3 of the 4 high school grade years, with the 2027 team the only one not in last place of the 3. In that year, they are ahead of the lowly 2027 DCE team. So in real terms— Madlax teams @ChillLaxin. And they are not winning. But keep patronizing that fool, maybe it’s working for you! 2025’s: NL #17 DCE #26 ML #33 2026’s: DCE #2 NL #15 ML #44 2027’s: NL #6 ML #23 DCE #61 2028’s: DCE #28 NL #34 ML #42 * Rankings per Inside Lacrosse. 2028 rankings per US Club Lacrosse, 2028 not yet ranked by IL

IMO, that ranking is a tad high. Got ran off the field by Laxachussetts at NFL and lost to Team 91 MD and NE Blazers down the stretch.

Can we all please take a moment to recognize how BOTC finally figured out not to have two or three blank page links at the end of each forum and now just goes out to the last page with actual text?
Humanity literally built a space station before this breakthrough, but it's welcome nonetheless.

Does anyone know anything about the Fall East Coast Showcase & Invitational? Is it worth doing at this age? If you want to just check it out that's fine. If you are looking for recruiting value then it's a money grab. College coaches are paid to be there. No college coaches are looking at 9th graders. Right now they are trying to lock down the 2026 recruits and will start scouting the 2027's. My opinion is based on my own mistakes. I actually had my oldest son do the player series in 8th grade and it was a complete waste of money.

An unintentional but effective reminder that this phase is over. Someone predicted this last spring I think.

That would make sense but it was same message on many pages including 2034 page. If all posts are moderated and approved how does that nonsense make it through?

My thoughts are, if you can not compete, hold them back, and if that does not work, Do it again,,,and if that does not work,,quit ..

2028 rankings per US Club Lacrosse, 2028 not yet ranked by IL Exactly, MadLax is leading at every age group. 2028 rankings per US Club Lacrosse, 2028 not yet ranked by IL Exactly, MadLax is leading at every age group. Or— last in all but one. But yeah. Ok, CM is a buffoon. Where are the 2028 HoCo teams playing this fall? NAL? Terp Classic? NLF? As long as you ignore when they regularly ... don't Exactly. Some great fields at Terp Classic and NAL next couple weekends. But what happened to Crabs this weekend? New coach not jiving? They got run over up north Madlax is the new sheriff in town. Whooped up on Clippers over the weekend. You can see it all on Instagram. You better believe it. Madlax had themselves a day. The boys were buzzing! So in HOCO words... An Elite team beat a AAA team, bravo... Madlax put on a show. DMV officially on notice. Didn't the preds used to do this goofy troll-marketing? Does it work in terms of getting kids to sign up for their shakedowns? Actually curious.

Easy there big girl ! The man is a legend. To bad you had a bad time, the rest of the players didnt, time to move on and complain about college coaches telling little johnny he is not that good I'd bet good money that player retention from 3rd grade to 9th grade is 0% on that team. FCA, Next Level and Hawks probably 50%. 91MD 10-20% (coaching turnover). Crabs, probably 20% (likely 0% by 11th grade but that's their business model). So who's really the outlier here for "the rest of the players."

I know, he’s a ringmaster who preys on gullible parents, but that entire ‘28 team fell apart bc he of his family - he was either looking out for his wife (that summer tourney where he was tossed for defending her being a loudmouth with a ref was where there was a mass exodus) or his kid (too small for elite, all the remaining good players took off bc of daddyball, even the big kid who got plenty of deserved minutes). He was already a well compensated town clown but that ‘28 team died bc he was standing up for his family. Again, I get why some despise him, but those are tough choices for any father or husband to have to make.

But an emotionally mature grown man knows how to deal with his wife acting out of pocket, and adjusting his hopes and ego to the reality of where his kid actually fits in the world. As men we are expected to be accountable and to handle our personal business without tearing down what we've built. Especially since in both cases he allowed personal distractions to impact his work performance and his professional reputation.
