Why are we always going at the Rebels? The fool parents are gone. We have two teams. Maybe we’re not the top of the 28’s but the kids are having a great experience and getting better. You must be a former disgruntled employee or maybe one of the fool moms. There’s been 4 over the years at this level. Which are you? Hmmm. Maybe Smithtown, RP, ESM?

When you’re done swallowing big guy explain how the experience has been great when kids are fleeing from The Rebels on all ‘28 teams?? Who is the head coach For hydra/ black/ chrome? There are still some winner parents on that team. Have fun!

Nike Blue Chip, Red Hots evaluation guy, Red Hots Camps, CK1 training, clinics on Nantucket, and finally coached 2Way at Naptown. Honestly, he seems like a nice guy, and I respect the hustle, but, as the the quote goes , “If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything". He is pretty much willing to take a check from anyone/club/showcase/school/tournament/you name it.. He rents his name…but at this rate it won’t be worth much in a few years. “Come to Connor Kelly’s House of Pancakes, it will make your kid an elite lacrosse player”.

Does anyone know did Igloo buy Legacy? Or did Legacy buy Igloo?

My son has been on 2 travel teams, most of my son’s friends have been on 3 travel teams over the years. Wondering how many start with 1 team and remain on that team all the way until HS?

For those that start young, I would put the number at like 10-15%. And of those, 50% have a dad that’s a coach or on payroll with the club.

I know a bunch that have been on 3, one that was on 4

I thought Legacy merged with Rush? Now also Igloo is involved…. Going to be LegRushIoo

Yes for this age group, Legacy and Rush have 2 combined teams and then they each have another team, not combined. I believe it's the 2032 age group that Legacy and Igloo merged for one team.

Sure did and some from express. And both teams added reclasses from 27’s. Catholic schools make $$ off these fool lacrosse families. Maybe you will see them outed on that parents insta page

I think the question that should be asked is what team has the most former 2027’s on their current 2028 roster.

I cant blame the children. The parents should be embarrassed for manipulating the system. How do they not feel guilty changing their child's graduation date/year? I am sure all of those kids were fairly good players if they were on those teams to begin with. They must not have any sense of pride. It hurts deep down knowing what they did, it has to.

Na they are laughing all the way to the top of the rankings.
Not sure how much that matters but for parents to be making these life altering decisions there must be something to the fool right???

Looking for advice/information on 2 topics

First, the LI Elite 80 event in November. Is it worth the $695? Son seemed intrigued by it, but as I got to the registration part, I saw the cost. Didn't know why it was so expensive (paying for those D1 coaches to be there)?

Second, NE Select (Legacy, S2S, Igloo, Madlax and Mooselax)...are those select teams worth the time/money? Does anyone know the cost? Besides a couple of tournaments, what else is there? Son is interested, trying to do some research, not finding much. Appreciate any insight anyone can provide.

Maybe it was the kids choice? Who really knows. Having an extra year with your kid at home doesn’t sounds all that terrible.
And no, my kid isn’t reclassified, just trying to see it for more than just a lacrosse play.

Yes many kids decide nah I don’t want to go to school with my buddies I’d rather drop out and go down a grade and do that year alllll over. Oh and just happen to be lacrosse kids coincidentally. Quite the stretch

The percentage of vastly improving a players future placement in college is not that high for kids that reclass. It does help a few, but there are so many intangibles along the journey that can help or detract from the athletes final destination. Going down a year may help a few, but the class below may have players that will just blow by the reclass players. Repeating a year of school and not continuing the normal course of a young adults journey is just ridiculous regardless if you have the money to throw around or not. If you have the money already, then your success and contacts already made in life will help your child regardless.
