The answer was you don't get better from watching, you have to be on the field to get better. He said he gets asked that a lot and says it's the parents that are doing the kids a disservice by opting for the better team and less playing time. You learn and grow from playing in games. I’ll add. Not playing destroys confidence. Confidence doesn’t come from practicing vs better players. It comes from success on the field. This is HS now. There is very little winter and no spring at this age for travel, you want your som be a team where he is playing in a 7-7 game with 5 minutes left.

Parents love it so clubs love it because it means they can charge piles of money for it.

The 2025 experiment was not good for the White and Red.
