Since the OG forum is not accessible (We Encountered A Problem, Database error only visible to forum administrators), let's move on and get convos going.
How's the summer season going? Ballers have now joined True Westchester, didn't see that coming.
Have there been any changes with the HS coaching carousel?
2026 players (and the 2025s who re-classed) are anxiously waiting for Sept. 1.
Who are the top 2026 players in our area?

Why are the Prime Time teams after 2026 all so weak? A couple of years ago I would have considered them the top program by far but it seems like they've given ground to Eclipse and Express North at the younger ages. The 2027 Prime Time team is pretty average so it's not just an argument that "they get good at the high school ages". Has management taken it's eyes off the prize? Is it just daddy ball and friends and neighbors taking over the program and diluting the talent?

100 kids at the PT 2027 tryouts last night - kids from all over new england, kids from boarding schools all over new england, these parents know who gets it done . Daniello is the best at what he does . He gets more kids into the top showcases. knows the college coaches better . 18 d1 commits on his 2025 team . and no dad coaches !
Eclipse - very strong
2 way very strong
Express North- not so great last few years in terms of recruiting - but very string 2028 team

Express North- not so great last few years in terms of recruiting - but very string 2028 team 2027 PT is weak, 100 kids sounds like a good showing, let's see if they actually take the top talent from the tryout or if they keep the same mid team they've had for the last couple of years and the tryouts are just a $10k money grab...

Hearing a lot of positive momentum on the True Westchester program. They are definitely ahead of 91 Tristate & Preds in my eyes. Only time will tell if they can rise to the Eclipse and Primetimes of the area. Will be tough.

First off. True W is not even close to Tri state 91 or Preds. Blake is a nice enough guy but he is trying to run his B teams as if they are A teams and that’s never going to work.

Furthest thing from “daddy ball” in the area. No parent coaches and limited politics; unlike many others.

I'm not the person that posted the Daddy-ball comment, but I do know several father's from Somers that do coach their son's tri-state 91 team. I think a majority of programs have dad-ball going on and it should be disclosed during tryouts.

There are rumblings of a new opportunity for a 2026 (?!?) AA level boys team. I've been told that 2Way's 2026 Carolina (A) team is moving up to the AA level and will be at the same tournaments as the 2W 2026 Black team. (hope they pack thier bags for FLA at the IMCLA tourney).
The new new version is called 2Way 2026 Blue. Seems very late in the scheme of things, 2026 Carolina has been around for years and always in shadow of 2026 Black.
At this junction, i guess 2way is hoping for some late bloomers (or re-class players), to fill the rooster with AA quality players. Otherwise, it's going to be the Carolina "A" roster, playing against the lower tier AA teams. Which honestly, seems just like what Cavalry LC 2026 and Eclipse Orange (2026) and EN Orange Saracino (2026) are all doing.
Anyway, for any late bloomers, there is an open tryout this Thursday at Brunswick for 2Way 2026 Bluee (AA).
Lastly, 2Way does have a recent and credible track record of placing players at the next level (Princton, ND, Providence, Yale, NC, Lafayette, Brown, Marist, Hobart, Colgate, Rutgers, Bucknell, Bryant, SHU, Albany, JHU, UVM St Josephs).

PrimeTime Eclipse 2Way Cavalry Express North I agree with #1 PT. Eclipse/2W, tied at #2 Preds #3 EN? Cavalry? True Westchester, while they haven't had anyone graduate yet, the resources that the parent company, TRUE, has excceds EN and Cav. Team 91 Tri-state, while similair with True, not sure if Team 91 is set-up like TRUE, in regards to shared services.

What shared services does True have I think they are set up with teams by state and then national teams so you can get exposure at bigger tournaments with the national teams. Something like that.

Express North is fading quickly! Outside of 26s & 28s, their program's best players have left to other clubs. Wouldn't be shocked to see them have a huge drop off in talent over next couple of years. Other CT programs are that much better.

Express has not done a great job. the 2025 team has some talented players and they ended up going almost no where. its not sour grapes, the numbers each and every year prove that Eclipse, Primetime, 2-way are better options

So far, Primetime, Express North and Preds. PT with the most. Haven't seen any news of Eclipse or 2W.
In seasons to come, I expect True Westchester to land some players.

2way broadcasting a faceoff “partnership” with the beast for players in their program. This is a complete lie as all they do is provide a link for people to pay full price for his sessions!!
If this was a real partnership, it would be included in their programming or at least something at a discounted rate. In reality, 2way is probably just making commission for every one of their kids that sign up. This is the type of stuff that gets club Lacrosse a bad rep. The greedy get more greedy.

Noticed on X, the Hudson valley lacrosse officials assocation (hvloa) is conducting classes to become an official on: October 30, Nov. 6,12,13 and 20. Classes are at Pleasantville HS 7PM-8PM.
This is very unusual, classes are typically in Jan/Feb, prior to the season.
Kudos to them for trying to recruit more candidates. Each of the past spring seasons, games were canceled due to the shortage.

Battle of Yorktown was eye opening on 11/11/2024. Couldn’t make it up there, please do tell. Wish that Lohudlax (X) would have postsed something about, but it’s football season. Teams attending: Y, West Genny, Iona, Stepincrap, Fordham, L/P, Greeley and Pelham. Give us the dets on Y, L/P, G & P. Also, heard that New Rochelle had a Sunday tournment a couple of weeks ago; anyone have the dets on this tourney?

Club Scene in Order: Youth- Eclipse(best coaches around) 2Way(most reclasses around) Express North(various levels for growth and play) Primetime(rock with local kids and some stick through high school) Preds(great in the Scarsdale, mamo, Bronxville area)
High School Eclipse(number of commits to top schools undeniable) Primetime(grab kids from all over the northeast, number of commits to top schools undeniable) Express North(varying classes, usually land a few guys at top schools- and other miscellaneous schools) 2Way(only because you almost have to go to Brunswick or boarding school) Preds(lots of Ivy League and Patriot(Colgate Bucknell))
Calvary, 91 TriState and True are second tier. Is what it is

Battle of Yorktown Recap:
Iona Prep- dominant 3-0 - look like men, beat WG, YT and LP
Greeley- strong 3-0 - beat up Pelham, Stepinac and Fordham
WG- strong 2-1 - with their loss at the hands of Iona by 2 goals
Stepinac- I think 2-1 beat Fordham and Pelham(maybe) but lost to Greeley
Yorktown- 1-2 - losses to WG and IP
Pelham- 1-2 - played good lacrosse, all around solid lost to Greeley and step but beat Fordham
LP- 0-3 - not what they used to be, weak numbers too
Fordham- 0-3 - looked like a jv team, the bar is low for the spring to say the least

I am looking to sign my 2030 Goalie up for some winter goalie trainings and I was looking for opinions. I am interested in either 2Way's Stopper school or Next Save Lacrosse's (PT Goalie Coach) Winter training. 2 Way is charging 900 for nine 90 min sessions and NSL is charging 1200 for six 90 min sessions. Has anyone done wither and what can you tell me?

2way stopper school is just a bunch of college kids shooting on the goalies. Pure $$$ grab. No real teaching on technique from coaches. Not really worth the price tag, better off grabbing couple buddies and shooting at a local turf field if the weather isn’t too bad. Don’t know much about Next Save so can’t speak on that.

Find GoalieSmith for best program and then Next Save as Madalon is a real goalie, real experience and real connections. Play the short game and the long game. Get connected to a program with connections and quality instruction.

Has anyone done wither and what can you tell me? Having gone through club lacrosse 3x already, I would ask both 2way and Next Save the following: Who is providing the goalie instructions, what are his qualifications and will there be anyone else assisting him? Will he (and assistant) be attending all sessions? Is there a participation limit of goalies in the winter session? (The coach to player ratio is vital info). Winter training for non-2way players is obviously a supplemental tryout. Beware that 2way 2030 Black has at least 2 goalies and there was drama involving the Express North 2030 Black’s goalie that jumped to 2way in October. EN has made some unprofessional statements about 2way and the perceived process that the player left EN. Also, 2way has 2 teams per grade. The Black teams are the favorite teams. If your son is on a Carolina team, make plans to leave 2way ASAP, as they only view Carolina players as the unwanted step-children in 2ways family. Just follow 2way social media, it’s only players from the Black teams. No doubt, re-classing or going to a private school does help your son in making a Black team.
