23-7-1 is winning and a very good record considering the schedule strength is similar to Heroes & Coppermine.
Other route is they play no one and have a few losses, which is lame lol

Strength is the only thing keeping them in the rankings. Goal dif isn’t on par in more than half of their games.

Embarrassing for A team

Listening how Friedman was screaming and trashing players after games was gross. The whole team looks miserable. They seem to be falling apart at the seams. A CR intervention seems warranted.

Who did they lose to? They played top ranked teams?

Lost to #9 and #15 tied #20 team.

Trashing his players seems like a stretch, having them take ownership for poor play seems appropriate. The team has not played well in weeks, they should not be compared to 91 or Top Guns who have both played at a high level for the entire year. It’s a dead issue, YJ A is the 3rd best team on LI at the moment and it is not debatable.

YJ A has the best talent in Suffolk and are struggling. These are same girls who play in show cases and win POG and are feature in high lights from events all over different states. It’s not bad playing, it’s poor leadership.

Bert can turn it around. That man is science and art. Hope she sends him in to turn it around. he has done it before

Isn't 91s best player actually a 2030?

91 has developed dramatically over the past 2 years. Greaf Coaching has that impact on players.

Bert turned the 2028 around but it took over a year. As he is coaching 2028, I doubt he can cover 2029. CR always find ways if you see year in and year out, YJ always has a top ranked team.

Who are you even talking to? There aren’t any clear YJ parents talking for pages here. Your team is disliked by more than one opponent and it’s not the kids’ doing. It’s the parents. Look at the gross statements made here by ppl identifying as 91 parents. Look at things like “91 girls were miles better than everyone else at LILJ” with no regard for the fact that they played on a mixed team with others you are criticizing. I’m not YJ and I can tell you for sure, I’m no fan and it’s not having to do with your ranking.

Will college coaches be at Excelsior games?

They will be 3-deep on the sidelines for every game. And if little Suzy has a poor game, she can forget about going D1 and will likely have to settle for SUNY Potsdam.

Yes, D1-3......this event has drawn more coaches recently. My 2025 daughter played a few years back and there were not as many coaches.
