Which team is "an average B" team? Their 2023 and 2024 teams had some big-time D1 kids. 2025 only has two or three and is generally not great.

Think they're talking about the 2028 team being an average team.

Ahhh it doesn’t matter at this point! Hold backs and fly-in going to change the landscape here on forward. Especially with the big clubs. 91/express/s2s all those rosters filled with out of state athletes.

Anything has to be better than rebels 28 a friend left last year they never got gloves they paid for they have friends that stayed and they still didn’t get gloves this year that were promised they would do better and have them earlier this year

Some definite self promotion going on here with S2S and Surge lately, I’ll give you that you’re kids teams are definitely better than the rebels

Every 2024/25/26 roster is a google search away ...... You can definitely see which Long Island clubs have kids from out of state playing for them.

Maybe everyone quit because they were sick of your friend complaining about not getting gloves instead of getting their kid to practice and trying to get better? Was your friend the one that always complains and sh*ttalks everyone and everything at every tournament? The same people complaining are the same ones that hop from team to team every year. maybe you are the problem?

Wow Rebels Director is all fired up! You are lucky he’s just complaining and not suing or calling the cops if they took money for gloves and never provided them. Over a year later? Thats theft.

Because long island teams are already good makes no sense to fly out to somewhere else and try and make their team good.

Was it the gloves or is it the fact that your kid might have to work a little harder and cant hide on the sideline watching others win? Lacrosse is the true team sport, there is nowhere to hide if your kid isnt on board, bought-in, and progressing.

Football is in 1 month, they take everyone. Good luck.

What happened to Legacy? any parents on the team care to share insight? Used to hang with 91 and express. Last 2 years they have not delivered. Still have very good offensive players. Something seems so wrong. Will the merge fix it?

Why all the detest for surge? They’re a good team, not AA but definitely not B. Scrappy and a good core. Need more depth

What a disaster. That experiment failed

That wasn’t an experiment, it was a con, I know the rebels have broken promises over the years to many, but this move should have a class action suit being formed against them. Almost all parents in lacrosse think that their kid is better than they are in reality, CoachC found a way to capitalize off of this. The reality usually comes where your kid doesn’t get invited to AA teams, but this was a shady loophole that he used.

Rebels black. Claimed it was going to be a AA team with new hd coach. About 9-10 AA kids on roster & only added a coach. Org cared about having 3 teams instead of a good team. 20 man roster. 4 players that quit on them, one left early in season the others bailed on them at the end. Shame on their parents for that. 8-11 players at a practice all year never a full roster at practice. No consequences. Only occasionally a full staff. No support from organization. Kudos to the kids and parents that stayed committed & showed up knowing they were fighting an uphill battle each day. Showed heart & character.
Someone on this board hit nail on head when they said it started falling apart for the 28’s a few years ago when first head coach BM left. All downhill since then. Hopefully the kids that stay will get more support.

Don’t blame coaches or organizations look at the parents giving money hand over fist for catholic schools believing because their kid goes there they will now be special. Parents have the pocket book they control the madness.

If you are close to the situation at all, you would know BM caused most of the issues.

The owner announced he is taking over team, think that’s a big step in right direction for showing they care. We will be back, as my son has been coached by him before and it’s worth it to us. I am sure the team will look very different (in a good way)

They will line up for express too

If they get rid of the mindset that they have to ride their “top” players, and never rotate middies/attackman, they could do something. 5-6 kids left for express who are now starting after riding bench or being mis-used. Whoever the talent evaluator is over there should’ve been fired.

CoachC has done this for years with using the same name and not telling kids they’re in B until after fall or later.

They brought a fair amount of kids from BTB. Didn’t work out

They are bringing in talent. No one wants to stand around and watch on the sidelines of a 30 player team
