Surprised at Sunday results of Jesters. Were they missing any players?

Many NY teams missing players. States

They played in top bracket against very good teams.

They should play in a top bracket and against very good teams if they’re ranked number four! You’re defending your team as if your team should be outside the top 20!

No idea who you are referencing, but someone asked why Jesters had a "surprising" results on Sunday. Great teams can go 0-4 against elite teams, nothing should be surprising about a 1-2-1 record.

Long Island teams griddling so far this tourney season, Liberty most surprising. They seem to be able to compete with anyone, not sure what’s happening with Top Guns, losing more than they win, Jesters continues to battle but losing to some teams they historically beat. YJ continues to be best in class and not close on the Island.

What is yo with the Too Gun male coach? He is a terrible example to the girls.

The guy that screams and makes his girls cry on the field? I thought they canned him last summer? Didn't the parents revolt and force him out?

This sounds like the same parents that have been complaining for the last 3 years. Time to let go.

He is listed as a director so doubtful. I told my daughter that is exactly how a man should NOT speak to you.

Maybe ask the girls that play for him how they feel about him and his program. Guy has personally coached more Tewaaraton winners and finalists than anyone on Long Island. And they all come back to work with him and his current players. Guess he can’t be such a terrible coach/person.

That's the measuring stick? The man's actions speak for themselves. You think having coached super talented players automatically makes you a great coach/person? Are you new?

That’s a very weird measurement- I would rather my daughter learn to be respected and taught how a man should speak to a woman than belittled. He has no boundaries on who either, his team, other team, other people…….

At this level level you should be playing the best teams at every tournament. T shirts and hats are no longer the end goal. If you're winning or losing every game, you're probably in the wrong bracket.

That may be true but still came out 8-0. Surprising loss for Jesters in playoffs. Maybe a let down after finally beating MD Black.

Dominating is an interesting term since I believe Aces won the last two Lax for the Cure tournament titles and they clearly had the more difficult road to the championship. Credit to YJ for winning this year though. All NY teams showed well. Those pool rankings were incredibly odd and always lean towards favoring Steps since the tournament is run by their director. YJ and Aces were basically in the 3rd best pool according to seeding with only one getting a bye.

I agree. Who cares who he has coached before. He didn't produce those players. Isn't he related to someone within the club? How that man is not thrown out of every game is besides me. Screaming, berating and talking down to young girls should never ever be tolerated. There is coaching and that's not it. I'm guessing he is different when they are not in a game setting??? Maybe. But he embarrasses himself and the club. What a small man you have to be to speak that way to young girls and teenagers.

Top Guns is old news, won’t be relevant going forward - unless of course you want to play for Hofstra.

The only think that should be discussed about top gun is if there top players will try to switch to liberty next year or if YJ/Steps will keep putting them in top brackers..

Does anyone know what's happened to Monster?

1-7 over G8 and LFTC and only win was over a Canada all-star team. They used to be a solid top 20 team and now they are consistantly losing to teams in the 30s and above.



Typically, they send a majority of their squad D1. Can't see that happening with this team.
