Hawks in Aloha tournaments this summer? They are currently in the Aloha Cup this weekend, beating such power houses as BLC, the FCA b-team, and the someone called the SP Mixers.

I’m sure Hawks Dad is embarrassing himself, the team and his son… I remember thinking that Hawks team had potential, but that was years ago

Can someone explain to me how 91 made it to the playoffs. it looks like the Clippers had more goals for and less goals Against than 91. I am confused I think this is the first time that any 91 team made it to the playoffs since the 2025s (one of the best teams in the USA for their age) last played the league in 2021. That's 5/6 losing teams in 2021 6/6 losing teams in 2022 6/6 losing teams in 2023 (I recall it was a combined record of 7-35 or something gnarly) 5/6 losing teams in 2024, honestly....this projects well for this team. Not so much any other 91 team. Clippers were probably tired at many games due to excessive photo shoots. The team that instagrams together, stays together! Got a thing for the clippers? They look good on instagram AND the field.

I think Next Level is missing from NAL. Disappointing, would be a good test for all teams.

What 8 teams make it out of the bracket and into playoffs at NAL? Should have been 10 teams in playoffs some good teams will lose out based on goals

Yes, it is disappointing that Cabell/MadLax blocks certain teams from NAL.

Why don’t you hold your kid back another year like all the other overconfident DB on this site. You say it’s for lacrosse but your kid is just notIntelligent.

That True team seems to be unraveling … NAL Invitational this weekend has a good field of teams What's going on? Not sure what the problem is. They seem to be a pretty good team, just won there tourney this past weekend. Do not know why players would ever consider leaving for a dumpster fire like the Hawks. The Hawks is a last place AAA a team at best.

Next Level never goes to NAL, nothing to do with age. Age was verified during HOCO...

What was the issue again, parenting or coaching? The mass exodus to Clippers was because of what? I recall them running their offense through 1 player, constantly off the wheel play but they were at least competitive

With Tryouts around the corner.... Top teams to tryout for: 1. FCA 2. Crabs 3. Clipppers
Top teams to stay away from: 1. Hawks 2. Hawks 3. Hawks 4. Next Level

What is wrong with Next Level? Parents? Or coaches? No need to tryout. Team is already set. Save your money. They may take one or two elite guys.

I am going to throw out 91 as a place to look at. The other three mentioned all are good organizations, and every one of those clubs offer something a little different. I can speak from experience that the coaching and development is excellent at 91. The team has grown tremendously this year, and if you talk to most parents, they are very happy with the organization and how things are run. The head coach not being a dad was very attractive to our family, if your son works hard and is coachable, he will improve and see the field a lot. Nothing wrong with dad coaches and their recruiting of their kid's friends is why they usually win in Middle School, but that all ends in two years and is a very short-lived thing. They also promote multiple sport athletes, some other teams pressure kids to pick one sport/team in Middle School. If you want your son to be prepared and on the right track as he enters the High School phase of his career, 91 is absolutely somewhere to consider.

It was all of the above. Classless parents and daddy ball, uncle ball and neighbor/buddy ball at its best. And unfortunately for Hogan he played his cards all kinds of wrong.

That Hawks team was never competitive. Had a losing record in Hoco for 3 straight years. The coach resigned before the 4th year. Then with several favorite parents took the “best 8” starters and their talent to the clippers. End of story….

Technically the last poster is correct! Based off his lost definition of competitive (per the hoco website) they did win 2 more games last year than this year. Big gotcha moment!

Hawks lost by a greater margin to all teams they played before and new ones, won by much smaller margin to teams they had beaten before = less competitive
