Posting records from fall lacrosse is irrelevant especially for 2025’s. Team 10 missing lots of players at NAL they had multiple 26’s swing up. HHH at NLF missing countless players to high school tourneys and other conflicts.

Interesting that those two teams were the only ones missing players and that everything is irrelevant because of that. I guess no other team in the country has multi sport athletes and always fields a full team. Very interesting...

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Be thankful if your son is on Team Ten or HHH. These two clubs will deliver on your D1 dreams. Everyone else, time to start thinking of switching to tennis or baseball.

All good at HHH.
31st ranked 25’s are well over 50% committed to blue chip programs.

23rd ranked 26’s are rolling as are the 39th ranked 27’s.

Once again, showing the premier high school destination in Philadelphia is Big 4 HHH. Let’s go boys!!

You just validated his point & said the quiet part out loud. Every team is missing players so it’s meaningless to compare based upon results.

If all teams are missing kids, then it’s pretty even, so would still be a measure of the team.

I don't think you understand what the word "premier" means. Third and fourth place is not a compelling argument for premier status. That is not to say HHH is not a great club. They are definitely a great club. It seems like your insecurities are making you prone to hyperbole.

Maybe they are referring to the college placement by HHH? Not the writer, but HHH college placement track record is premier. If you disagree that is fine. Just tell us what great program you have in stealth that is better on college placement, development, and worthy of your disparagement of HHH.

Philadelphia is already a lacrosse hotbed and has been for many years. Haverford School has had several undefeated teams. Malvern has had some extraordinary years. Conestoga has had some extraordinary years. La Salle has had some extraordinary years. Radnor is arguable the top public lacrosse team in the nation recently. Look at the all american underclassman games. Philadelphia teams won every age group this past summer except for the 2026 class where they lost in the championship game after going undefeated in all the games prior. They made the championship game while missing arguable the top 2026 player in the nation who was out with an injury for the entire tournament.

Why so defensive? There was nothing disparaging in my remark. In fact, I acknowledged and believe that HHH is a great club. The 2025's have killed it in recruiting, which is what really matters. If he argued that HHH 2025 was the "premier" club based on recruiting, that is certainly a legitimate argument. He jumped the shark and based his comments on being the "premier high school destination" on club rankings for the 26s and 27s. Considering HHH trails Team TEN and Mesa for the 2026s and Team TEN and Brotherly Love for the 2027s, don't you think the statement is going too far? Historically Mesa and Brotherly Love have done well with college placement. Team TEN only has one team to be eligible for recruiting and has done very well.

If BM is so talented, and I’m not saying he isn’t, but why does GA [Censored] at lacrosse? There are so many schools in the area w top-notch programs, the North area has had huge success in township - why can’t BM make GA a success? Does he focus on HHH and not his school’s team?

This is a softball question. He doesn't focus on either organization. He is 100% reliant on talented players showing up on his doorstep in high school to get recruited. If you are talented, he has the connections to get it done. If you aren't top tier talent, he's not going to transform you into top tier talent. He's not a miracle worker and he is not a saint (quite the opposite from what I've heard).
Talent goes to HHH based on it's reputation alone.
Talent does not go to GA. Does he try to improve the team or recruit players to the school. Clearly not.

Does he have a great sneaker collection? heck yes he does.
Does he have a great flat brimmed hat collection? You know he does.
Does he get the job done at HHH? Yes
Does he get the job done at GA? No

Does any of this matter? Probably not. Thanks for reading until the end.

Astute observation. Perhaps because players arrive at HHH with their talents already and are being shaped primarily by other influences that are not BM. I would love to see an experiment in which those HHH kids play somewhere else with the equivalent reputation and see what happens. However, that’s impossible because of all the status/reputational exclusive nature of the lacrosse world. There is no open, unbiased opportunity. There are great players everywhere but very limited opportunities created by design by those who have influence and then everyone believes it is only the very best who make it to D1 or get recruited or make certain club teams. When in reality there are a ton of players who are just as good but are never given the opportunity. Just like when D3 players transfer to D1 schools and are fantastic. Or D3 players are in the PLL and are great. Let’s not believe that lacrosse is a meritocracy.

Any surprises in the end-of-fall rankings? Seems like the usual suspects up top at 2025, 2026, and 2027 (with Brotherly Love being added here).

2028 Freedom and Dukes very close at 12 and 14 in the country.

2029 Future at 4 and next Philly team is Dukes at 15.

2030 Dukes at 6 and Dawgs at 16.

That is really good news… the pipeline to HHH will be strong for a few more years.

Seriously, how will Duke’s protect its roster from being drawn to the NLF? Hopefully they have a plan because they will need it.

The Duke’s/Forster Bros figured it out, from a youth standpoint. That 2030 team is stacked, as is their 28s. Because of their success, kids came flocking for the 29 team, which was nothing special until this year (right before World Series). The 28s were strong and got stronger.
The 2030 team basically recruited every top kid at that age, they’re gonna make serious noise (until the kids realize there’s only 1 ball and they leave post-World Series)

Normally, I’d say an organization like the ALL fails against the NLF but the teams/clubs involved are impressive. It will take a few years but I think it can really compete…maybe the NLF tries to buy/recruit some of the teams?

What is the A.L.L.? I'm assuming it's some sort of competitor to the NLF?? If that is the case, who is in it? And is there any way it would actually draw kids away from the NLF (please tell me how).

Kids will start leaving on their own as they realize they are replaceable. No kid loyalty. They will continue to recruit and bring kids on rather than developing the kids and creating a sense of team. They did it with last years teams. HHH 2025 worked because the coach stayed with them through middle school and high school and the kids wanted to play together. That is how you develop a good team.

The ALL already has teams that were affiliates of the NFL and left for the ALL.

It is the "ALL Summer Championship". I believe it is sponsored by US Club Lax National Championship. Selection is based on the top 16 teams in each grade group in the country as ranked by US Club Lax. Think NLF without the ability to exclude stronger teams.

Oh..so it's just a tournament? You guys made it sound like it was some sort of affiliation that Dukes did something to belong to. If it's just the top 16 teams, then I suppose all the other philly teams can play in it assuming they meet the ranking requirement?

I guess NLF teams are eligible as well, but maybe they will elect to not acknowledge it?
Is this more for Youth Teams?

Is this the tourney that is in mid august?

Not true. The ALL is now like NFL. They have founding teams and affiliate teams. They will start having tournaments themselves moving forward. They have a Summer Championship for now.

US Club National Championship is separate from ALL and is run by US Club lax and their rankings. NLF teams will be able to quality the question will be will they participate since it is a non-NLF Championship. I believe HHH is the only club that adheres to that.

What exactly is BPG Nationals? I know BPG sports bought Dukes but BPG Nationals looks like it is all the Dukes coaches. Will they being changing names or are the planning on having a National team outside of Dukes? They are running a Mini Camp? For what purpose? Any involved?

BPG is a national team outside of Duke's and Brotherly Love (both under BPG Lacrosse). They are currently in the Circuit and session II is in December, thus the mini camp. So far the experience is just alright. The coaching is excellent. Hopefully the talent comes. We shall see. Not impressed with the Circuit in the least. So if that's the big selling point next year, we might not be returning.

Sorry you missed out on logic and reasoning, unless you’re saying teams are not good without one or two of their players. If so that would be an indictment of a program’s overall development.

The Alliance Lacrosse League
Founding members: 3d New England, BBL, Mad Dog, Next Level, SweetLax
Partners: BPG (BL, Dukes), Legacy, Shore2Shore,2Way, Team Ten

seems pretty legit to me. Good that there will be some competition to the NLF.

Are these Leagues/Federations good for club lacrosse? it's all getting very corporate.

Got it. So this replaced Premier National then. We were on that team but only did one tourney with them. Was asked back for Naptown but declined since my son was already going with his club team.

The ALL already has teams that were affiliates of the NFL and left for the ALL.

What teams are in the ALL? I can't find any information on the google machine.

It is the "ALL Summer Championship". I believe it is sponsored by US Club Lax National Championship. Selection is based on the top 16 teams in each grade group in the country as ranked by US Club Lax. Think NLF without the ability to exclude stronger teams.

ALL = The Alliance Lacrosse League

BPG is a national team outside of Duke's and Brotherly Love (both under BPG Lacrosse). They are currently in the Circuit and session II is in December, thus the mini camp. So far the experience is just alright. The coaching is excellent. Hopefully the talent comes. We shall see. Not impressed with the Circuit in the least. So if that's the big selling point next year, we might not be returning.

Got it. So this replaced Premier National then. We were on that team but only did one tourney with them. Was asked back for Naptown but declined since my son was already going with his club team.

Cool. what did you guys have for lunch yesterday? I'd love to hear more about it.

What happens when the top 5 or 10 teams do not show and are at nlf?
