Is BBL Black a local team or takes into account most of NJ BBL Black is local team based in central NJ drawing a lot of kids from Summit/Chatham area. BBL "National" draws kids from a wider area within NJ, but still far from true national team drawing kids from multiple states like Red Hots, Nations Best, Eighteen, etc. The "National" team practices together year round since they are not spread out like other national teams.

Legacy lost to BBL Black 6-10 (championship game)
BBL Black tied LI Express CoachS 6-6
LI Express lost to Sweetlax Upstate 8-6

Wow, BBL beat 91 Cyclones pretty good but BBL only tied LI Express CoachS.
That is why they play the games!
There is obviously no clear dominant team in the 2030 age group.

Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about.
Bethesda is clearly a fluke and got hot at the right time. Bethesda will not maintain that winning against top travel teams. Who have they beat before or after?
Crabs had a horrible showing at the NAL losing to Legacy 8-4 and only beating an average Shore-2-Shore Stingers 9-8.
2Way tied Laxachusetts 6-6 and only beat a good local GardenCIty Team 6-5 and lost to Legacy Admirals 8-7 at TriStar Lax Clash on Long Island.
Orange Crush....Where have they been hiding? What tournaments are they playing at and against what level of competition?

We used to see Orange Crush at all the top 2030 tournaments but they’ve been missing for most of this year…definitely weird. As for BLC, you obviously haven’t seen them play; while the 2030 year might be “a fluke”, they are well coached and play true team ball. Def one of top programs at this age, not even a question.

Again, there is NO clear number 1 team. Any team can beat one another at any given tournament. I think the top teams are clearly in no specific order: BBL Black 91 Cyclones Bethesda Lax Club Igloo Black Ice These clubs have won tournaments with tough competition

The Naptown 2023 tournament is a few days away. Looks like there is some good teams going. It looks like Igloo Black Ice and Orange Crush will be there. It also looks like a ton of "National" teams will be there? Does anyone have a scouting report on this field if teams?

Impressive weekend for 2030 Long Island teams. Cyclones beat Legacy in Championship Game at Gauntlet. Express finished 3rd.
Nice showing by 1st year LI Jesters team at Prime Time tournament. Seemed to hold their own against top tier teams (ie Orange Crush & Prime Time) while picking up a few victories against AA competition.
Rebels made Top 4 at Big Time Shootout.
I didn't notice if Igloo Black Ice was in action.

So try out season is done. What team improved from last year??? If you are just being honest about the pecking order, you would have to say: 1. 91 Cyclones 2. Igloo Black Ice 3. Legacy 4,5,6 No idea between Express, Rebels, S2S 7. Jesters

Lions are up there, def can give 5 and up a competitive game. 91 Cyclones, Igloo, Legacy and Express might be too much for them. Rebels dont have a team, disbanded.

Who have the 91 Lions played and beat in that top 7? Unfortunately, True Blue, Recon, Rush, Recon and Mooselax are definitely a big step below. I am pretty sure BTB doesn't even have a 2030 team.

91 Lions are on par with the Jesters and Rebels Aces. The other teams mentioned above shouldn’t even be discussed. Not sure any of them could beat a low level PAL team.

It’s a B team ….. You can “ eventually “ go in whatever tournament you want and get smoked. Fact is you haven’t played anyone all last year and now think you will do well in these tournaments ?? You played our Rebels B team and won….. Not a huge accomplishment, never played our Aces team

The B teams keep there talented players because if they go the A team's, they are 2nd or 3rd string. What is better, being the star on a B team or a backup on an A team and not see the field. Especially when daddy lacrosse and coaches favorites are part of the equation.

Wait until 7th grade when the best players slowly go over to 91 and Express. The power of the NLF is real and top players want to go play with and against the best. That has seemingly been the trend. Time will tell if one team can break that trend.

Fake news. People love to overpay and be the last man on a big roster. Very few will choose to play on a lessor team to get more run. Teams are deep and parents are fine with being 5/6.
