Why? Coaches should always be looking to improve the roster. Girls should know who is safe. If no one is being replaced, you either are #1 or you aren't imrpoving.

TLC didn't have tryouts for 26s. Unless they had an invite only tryout.

I don't think they are saying the coach is wrong. If there are going to be cuts girls should have a back up plan. They should look at other clubs. If these girls don't tryout elsewhere and then do get cut ? They are left scrambling. Coach is not wrong making cuts and kid is not wrong looking at other teams .

Did SW give out all offers?

Both SW and M&D have made offers to girls and made them promise not to tell. Which of course they didn’t keep.

That [Censored] for my daughter if that's the case. Now it will be challenging to find any team. But we knew going in it would take a lot to take a spot on any of these teams.

Not sure how accurate that is unless these children are such good.liars that they wouldn't tell someone. 15 year Olds can't keep drama in......any parent of one knows that word quickly spreads.

Trying is half the battle. Kudos to you and your daughter, she will find a team that fits her. Tell her to keep her head up, in the end she will be just fine

Go to a Heroes Green game or GCDS game and you will hear him screaming. He is so OVER the top you can’t miss him. Oh and he is always decked out in his Heroes gear.

Your kid had to have been cut off hero's and you still are bitter. Let it go. Heroes green isn't the only team that will produce college lacrosse players. What landing spots are there for girls who were let go from M&D or Skywalkers?

For SWB and M&D Black, assuming they don't want to drop to their B teams, you have TLC Red and NEMS. TLC Red doesn't list tryouts for 26 and the younger age groups tryouts were in June (LOL), but I'm sure they'll do a one-on-one tryout for a good player. NEMS tryouts next week. Both are good options at 26. For SWW and M&D Red players let go and still interested in club lacrosse, Coppermine or TLC Gold could be your new home. Tryouts are over, but I'm sure if you contact them, they'll be happy to have a discussion. MD United has tryouts next week as well.

Tlc won’t have tryouts. DK has his Gerstell / redshirt kids. Nems is too far away and program is falling apart. Some kids are in a tough spot to find a team.

There are still teams around and an outreach to a coach or director never hurt
Coppermine still has spots
Maryland United 7/14 and 7/16 tryouts
Integrity might have some since many left during year

HoCo has their second tryout 7/19.

Hoco will have plenty of open spots. Here a few are going to mnd red with the twins from Heros. There will be a place for them.

Fake news. This is a Girls 26 forum right? NEMS 26 is not falling apart and is currently a top 30 team. Maybe it's too far for some, but it's not falling apart. A couple younger teams are struggling, but others are poised to do well.

In full disclosure, Coppermine has LOTS of spots.
