Not really it’s actually mixed. The 2024 kids are mostly 91 kids. The 2025 kids are TB, Regulators and 91.
23 top kids were mostly TB.

Most of the IL 5 stars are all older, every year. Never see people whining about that.

I don’t think the Catholics have that many holdbacks. Certainly nothing like MD teams. I know of several kids that start for both Chaminade and St A’s and none of them are holdbacks. I do know of some, though. How many in each? A handful, tops? MD teams are made up of purely holdbacks. No on age at all. Compared to them, the LI Catholics are “youngn’s”.

Probably because it is much harder on LI to figure out the 2 year holdback game. Or, there would probably be a lot more. Can’t stay back very easily in public elementary schools on LI. Some families know how to start the game very young and do it in the younger years. Get a leg up on the advantage very early .

The previous poster that says Massapequa is a sewer is dead wrong.. We all know that Massapequa is not a sewer. Seems like there are just some better, more talented, lacrosse teams in the division this year and the parents cant accept it.. So they blame the coach..

No question it’s the coach. Ask around and talk to other coaches as well. While the team may not be as talented as past years, don’t blame it on the parents for speaking up and exposing the mess. Respect them. He was obviously not vetted by the board and AD well and had to fill a spot quickly after the old regime was unexpectedly let go. His days are numbered.

You mean the mess the parents made by getting the old coach's fired because they didn't think their kid played enough.

If all 23s are True Blue, this explains a lot. They went from the undoubtedly worst travel coach on the Island to a weak HS coach (very good friend of the travel coach and likely helped get him the job - Adelphi connection). Very talented kids, look forward to to seeing them with a real coach in college.

If you have an issue then take it to the athletic director or the school board. Stop bashing anonymously. Be a man and speak your mind where everyone knows who you are. It’s one or two guys that are bashing the coach. Definitely have an agenda

If Pequa thinks this year was rough, just wait until next year. All of their “good” seniors will be gone and there is nobody that will replace their production. They have one very good 24’ defender. The rest of the grade has never played in an impactful game. Combine that with a mess of a coaching staff and you have a perfect recipe of disaster.

Any chance we can get a Pequa thread so we can get back to how easy Manhasset and GC will have it in their incredibly weak playoffs? Zip up the sweater vest season!

Manhasset cake walk into LI Championship, GC likely, but have a few potential tough competitors on their way. They will have the harder Nassau championship game.

The good A conference schools would get smoked by Manhasset but a few could potentially beat or at least play GC tough. I think GC only beat Syosset by a goal or 2 and Syosset is probably the 4th best team in Conf A.

Ward Melville took a serious beatdown today. Seems like they’ve been having trouble with Smithtown East for many year! They're overrated Smithtown East got very lucky, but not for long! You're getting hammered in the playoffs. Got lucky?? It was a blowout, a beatdown. Love to see it. Best player on the field was a kid not even playing in college. Ran all over a bunch of committed kids. Love to see it! Ward Melville will be back to crush you. Lol, don’t be so mad. I can totally understand why you’re so salty, but jealousy is a bad look. Instead, try giving credit where it’s due. I have no horse in the race, but been following SE for years. Facts that they have a long history upsetting Melville. Lol, time to crawl under your sewer hole. The team that was going to get “hammered” is playing at StonyBrook and will either be first or second in the county while you watch from the nosebleeds. What happened? Guess things went downhill after watching your girls get beatdown yesterday, you decided to follow the downward projectory Sad
