Any word to who. It has become very much pay to play with all the private workouts that are “optional”. Wondering if this will change with new ownership

birth year classifications would change so much in this group
sure it evens out eventually but it does open the door for many girls in the early years You would have to switch it back before 9th grade for recruiting purposes. Recruiting is done by grad year not by age. So switching it in the younger ages would only be a short term fix and then cause for big tryout switches the summer before 9th grade. No it only has to be for travel and PAL type leagues. High school obviously can mix. We have to end holdbacks asap Easier said than done -- would need to be done on national level, not just Long Island. Most DC/MD private school recommend kids starting school late so some of the top MD teams would lose half their team if this was implemented. Good riddance! Bye cheaters Is this something you really want? Why deny girls a chance to play better competition in middle school? If you do, they will be shocked when they have to play these same girls in high school when focus moves to recruiting.

Yj maget loses to legacy. Ouch! Yikes. But looking at tourney machine that was the only good game. What do these girls get out of these blowout games? Bragging rights for crushing a team that they should beat? Parents feel like their kid is on a winning team? Waste of time for BOTH teams.

Can anyone confirm rumor of liberty getting sold to jesters?? Seems to be the word on the street. Liberty will do really well under them. They are getting close to Yj in talent level but without the drama of the YJ logo Key for them is adding in a girls director who will put the work in for recruiting, training, and do it for the girls sake not for the cash

However, these clubs make lots of dollars off their teams. They can afford to pay a recruiting director, specialized trainers and coaches! They just have to want to do it for the right reasons. Not just the money.

Jesters already have 3-4 teams in each grade, why would they need to buy another club....

They combine the talent of their 28 black teams - they instantly become a threat not only for yj maget but most of the Maryland teams. There are very good players on both of those teams and so they would have depth and not a lot of weakness. Time will tell what they do.

Have to see how it plays out but Jesters just played a 1 goal game with M and D...if that came to fruition they would match or exceed the talent anywhere in that age group.

They might be nervous Because if liberty and jester merge teams they can’t take all girls from both black teams and make a roster of 40 plus girls on one black team. They would have to cut and modify black team that’s merged. That means girls wlll move to B team etc. But that’s if they merge the teams. Blue devils seems to have its own team under flg. Who knows how it will play out and if jesters is really buying liberty.

I get the merge and some girls will not make the top team either way. But that is sports. The top level talent from both organizations should want the merge. That team would be very very good.
As for the girls that don’t make the top team. They would have option to make a really good second team or move on to other organizations . That is the option for every girl, every year.
That second team would be a top li team as well. I wouldn’t foresee recruiting being over looked as they would more than likely be a ranked (<20) team.
Keeping two very good teams would be the safe way for the organization. Creating a great team and a good/very good team would be risk but huge payoff if they perform.
Of course all this is if jesters did in fact buy liberty.
