Reposting last post from previous SY: Here is the ironic thing about holdbacks and reclasses....if your son is such a fool shouldn't he be a game changer at his age level ? I don't care what anyone does out of state . If your son is really that special he should be a game changer at his age group and should have no problem when playing teams with holdbacks etc....so I guess he's not that good? This is not a very smart comment. Is your point the on-age kid is not good because he cannot beat an older kid? What does that say about your kid holdback dad? You have misinterpreted everything I just said ....it's quite the opposite of what you have understood . What I am saying is against holdbacks and reclasses not for them . I was saying that if you're son is such a stud then why hold him back or reclass him ...if he is a stud then he should be able to stay on age and be dominant.[/quote] Check out the D1 commits to top lacrosse schools! How many on age? Just curious? It’s the nature of the beast now, if your kid wants to play in a top D1 program. Just the reality of the game now. So, parents do the holdback thing as early as possible!! More time to develop and will dominate early. Sorry, it’s just what the game is kind of requiring now. SAD but true.

The Rebels tryouts were phenomenal today. Big changes to the teams based on the talent showing up.

We see the same post every year after Rebels tryouts. Great talent, changes coming, two A teams being formed, blah blah. It’s so funny.

Please stop - team is imploding. They play in A brackets not AA (where they get crushed)…. They have to keep saying how well they are doing to convince everyone - don’t look at results lol

Team is improving each season but needs a few more players to make the jump to A.
Funny how all these anonymous parents chime in to bash Rebels and you multiple helmets ftom 91 legacy S2S etc there at tryouts. Team is moving in right direction.

Absentee head coaching and a dad coach with too much pull will catch up to you eventually

That's the problem at Legacy they give dads to much power even if they not coaching. That's why all their team are bad except Taz.

That's the thing. These organizations spend more tine trying to court the new " girlfriend " like they will be the savior which may or may not work or meet expectations and then take focus away from current team/ talent.then things start splintering.

Watch out for that kid. Had great JV season when he was in seventh grade this past spring. Would think a kid like that would be best on team!

Machine is the top of nothing . Didn't win one tournament this past summer . Won the world series in the last second of the game . Any of the 4 top teams could have won , all of the semifinal games were decided by one goal and some.in the last minute. Gaurantee they don't win another tournament next summer . We will see

Gators they think they are an AA team but only A. Absentee head coaching and a dad coach with too much say has taken a toll. Overvalued players not getting it done.

That was one of machines best players but not the best. Their most important player is either the big attackman or their goalie.

The point is when you have one of your best players leaving a team willingly there is a problem in paradise. Why would anyone want to join a toxic team with parents literally fist fighting each other ?

That’s your opinion concerning the big righty attack for Machine being the best on the squad. He’s really good though. Still like the smaller spider [Censored] kid better that seemed to quarterback their offense for years. He’s smooth with both hands and has great vision. Goalie is really good. The taller goalie. Defense still suspect at times.

I agree....I have been watching the kid that left for years . He was absolutely the best player on machine . Light on his feet with good game IQ and good hands on both sides. The problem with machine is they don't develop players and unfortunately the toxic sideline parents started to run the asylum . As a result the kid left as well as a few other kids . So let's sum it up . The team wins the world series , you would think people are happy right ?
