MD red should be in A division. The majority of the players were on A teams previously. Staying in B does not serve their players well going into HS and future recruiting. In the end ones W-L record is not an indication of how good you are. You need to face tougher opponents to show your true strength. You think we wanted to be in the B division!! NGLL said absolutely NOT to our request to be in the A division. So don’t think this was our doing but look at SR and CR for denning us any competition this spring. It was a waste of gas and time. Now the girls will get to work for this summer and will play competitive teams. Denying you? What does it benefit the Robinsons to hold their own club team down to beat up on teams and not have the great M&D 26 teams together in the A?? Maybe when they really looked at the roster after fall season, they felt it was better to have a successful spring season than a losing one? Go enjoy your last NGLL championship win. Good luck this summer competing against A teams.

Both Black and Red team won their brackets. Watched both teams play today. Congrats to both teams well deserved. When are they going to play each other? Will never happen. Could happen at Lax For the Cure. Red will definitely make bracket play. Got an incredibly easy schedule.[/quote] Is the schedule out or just the groups? How do you see this information? Cannot find it on LFTC website

Yes we were denied because the red team was a new team, and we had to stay in the B division. You don’t know anything about the red team, unless you are a salty sally on our team and maybe trying to start drama. Whoever you are I can say this, the red team will try their best this summer learn a lot about themselves and being a team. Lose more games then win but at the end of the day they will walk away as a team and hold their head high, support each other and learn about lacrosse from their knowledgeable coaches. Worry about your daughter and her team stop trying to bring us down.

Half the reason coaches are moving on. Clueless parents telling them who should be on their team. Take it as a life skill. The parents are the ones that are embarrassed for absolutely no reason.

Based on that, it would have been tough to argue they belong in the A Bracket.

Just want to see M&D Red get humbled. "dominating" in B division is not an accomplishment. M&D club as the benefit of reputation and tradition. They can be much more selective in filing out their teams and will only end up taking the top players. Its less about the quality of the coaches than the actual talent they sign. If it was just the coaches, and if you could swap coaches with another club team, you would not get the same results. Totally disagree with this. You don't think Mary Gagnon who I think everyone can agree is the best high school coach in the state of Maryland right now hasn't made a huge difference with the M&D Black team? Great post. Coaching matters!!!!!!

I can’t see Heros Green girls trying out. Maybe? I bet they will have tryouts during the week like last year and not on the actual tryout day. The MDU goalie dad has made it clear his daughter will be at the Heros green tryout and M and D black team. He was positioning himself well with all the parents this past weekend. He has the Little man annoying syndrome.

Or the club will privately give out invites to everyone they want back before any tryouts occur. That's how they do things.

Totally disagree with this. You don't think Mary Gagnon who I think everyone can agree is the best high school coach in the state of Maryland right now hasn't made a huge difference with the M&D Black team?
She's best high school coach? Is that why she brought in a new OC half way through the season?

Making $5000 a year coaching and then having to charge spsg girls to train them out of season. No other schools players will use him them. Kinda like kids stopped going to the MCD coach for draw lessons in high school.
