Actually a Black M and D parent. They are spreading false info so the Red team will fold. Why? Because they know their kid has a chance of getting cut from the team. Eliminate the red team so the black team coaches won’t demote anyone to Red. It’s their twisted thinking. They are all fake and all entitled parents and kids.

Moving to the area in the summer and looking at lacrosse programs. Will Heros Green take any new girls? Is it a waste of time to tryout? Parents said M and D not taking on new girls but will hold tryouts. SW taking new girls or keeping the same team? Just looking at options before paying for tryout fees.

Any club will take you if you are good enough. However, for those programs good enough may be mean being one of the top 100 2026 girls in the country. If you aren't playing on a top 15 club right now, I would not bother unless you are ok with B team.

Based on history of the top programs, SW takes the most new girls at this age level.

If your daughter is good enough i’m sure these teams will consider taking her, idk if you’ll want to go to SW considering the amount they just lost to price by but i’m sure if your daughter is an A level player these teams will take her

M&D will take new girls for sure. Especially if talented. Parents are saying that to save a spot for their daughter. Look for 3-4 changes on Black this summer. Happens with all top teams.

If your girl is better than current players she should make any team she tries out for. Don’t believe many rosters are locked in for 22/23 season.

Where’s the best chance to make goalie in MD if you are looking to switch? Do any teams carry three in high school?

Most of the SW starters were on the sidelines for the playoff game. The team is coached by coaches that don’t concentrate on NGLL games, but care more about summer tournaments.

No. Unless they currently have 1 of their 2 goalies out with a major injury they may consider it. M&D Black only has 1 after 1 left halfway through the season.

Watched SW play this weekend and I have no skin in the game here... Plenty of talent on that team but the absence of a top notch, quality goalie makes it tough. A good goalie would bring that team much closer to the top teams.

that's what makes a team like Hero's Green so good, as they are talented, but they also have the best goalie in this class.

No need for names on here. They have 5 or so really good players, then it drops off from there significantly.

Nobody getting recruited at 26 level in NGLL or summer. By the looks they will have trouble competing in summer too. They aren’t very well coached.

Really a toss-up. Both games could go either way. M&D/Pride game will definitely be a close one. Prediction...HG over M&D in final.

See that no one picked M&D looks like their shakeup didn't work.

I agree. Hero's is not what they use to be. All of their teams start off strong. but clubs catch up and some clubs pass them.. This team will be no different. They are talented, but do not seem to be improving.

M&D red on track to win B Division very easily. They should be moved up to A level in summer tournaments. that will force competition between Black & Red. Then M&D will face same dilemma that Heros White had last year. They wont want to take 2 A level teams to recruiting tournaments. That is why Heros club forced White to disband. The high level players on MD Red will be seeking teams that will get them in better showcase tourneys. Heros White should be back in B division for tournaments this summer.

Moving forward is a club allowed to enter two A level teams or does one have to be in B bracket? If they can take two A- wouldn’t all the players remain?

If Red makes it the final game, a lot of the team will not be there as they are going to the UA tryouts. That goes for the coach and goalies. So who knows the outcome at this point.

That would be silly. Very few 26's will make the UA team. I think 2 25s made it last year - both from A teams. Last chance at an NGLL title (even if it's B).

They will be gone by Call back time. Most of call backs will be 25 players that are more talented.

M&D Red is not comparable to last years Heros' white team. The white team had way more talent than the current M&D red team

This. If any 26s make it, it will be from the top A teams. 26s should have focused on American Select if making a showcase was important.
