Does anybody know why the Hawks vs DCE game this Saturday was canceled?

The game was supposed to be True, not the Hawks, vs. DCE.

I wasn't asking about Rage and the 26 Hawks....

Word on the street is that the DCE goalie is unable to make the game so they asked for the change.

Also told the True Crabs game will be delayed as well due to Crabs requesting as FL kids would not be present.

All word of mouth.

Any team would be "in fire" against that awful FCA team. Should not be playing elite. That will be 91's sole HoCo win.

Hawks defense is so bad Madlax played their long pole on offense. Talk about no respect

FCA parent here. Maybe they shouldn’t be but they accepted the challenge. Have to play better to get better. Good group of boys and coaches. Half the team are new so using spring league to figure things out. Not excuses just honesty. Have a great rest of the season.

The former is true; not sure how that works. 1 kid can’t make the game so both teams agree to reschedule??

The later is false. Crabs plays True on Thursday night.

St John’s had academic testing. A good portion of the roster was there. What’s more important?

Florida kid that plays x for crabs was there today. He’s a difference maker for sure. Assuming he will be there Thursday since he couldn’t make Saturday. Ridiculous

Spoken like a true Hawks dad. Gotta be 2X4. Do yourself a favor and have your son hit the wall so he can play more than 2 shifts a game picking up ground balls.

I’m assuming you haven’t seen the wing wing play and LSM on D but the Hawks lines are good. I’m. A Madlax dad and they did great. Madlax played great D and offensively couldn’t finish

Prior to today Madlax had scored 12 goals in 3 games. Today they scored 9 in 1; nearly matching their totals for the year. Tell me again about D and LSM who did nothing all game🤨

Yeah we ended rescheduling my sons for during the week since it fell on a Saturday. There are alternatives but let be honest here why the game was postponed😳.

Attention to Hawks Parents - what in the world is going on this year? A top 5 program for 5+ years and now can barley beat teams in HOCO? Coaching? Player development? Lack of talent?

Who cares.... The game was postponed not cancelled. I'm sure they will play the game. Just another chance to detest on the DCE goalie.

They are struggling to upgrade talent. Nobody in the area wants to go there. The toxic culture that's been created is something that families are staying away from.

Maybe this environment is what the problem is, people hating on 13/14 year old kids. People trashing parents- some of who they don’t even know. How about we all just give support to a fantastic group of teams from this area and cheer the kids on. There will be wins, there will be losses. Some of these kids are about to merge and play together in high school, after that, some will for college. Club teammates will be playing against each other. Stop pitting people and teams against others. It’s not healthy.

I’ve said this before. They peaked in 5th maybe 6th grade with bigger, stronger players who are now average sized. Coaches and a bunch of the parents seem like jerks too.

Sometimes the quarter zip is on the way up, sometimes the quarter zip is on the way down.

Great post and most of us feel that way but this forum is all about trash talking and degrading kids and their families unfortunately.

It started with 21 and 22 hawks teams. Kids know they would be replace not developed into better players. 25 hawks team is toxic also and only fools will send their kids to Spalding.

If the True/DCE game for postponed due to St Johns testing yesterday, why did the True/Crabs game get moved to Thursday at Goucher?

You may want to find out who the True Head Coach is. He has conflicts on Saturdays with his other lacrosse Club he coaches. You know, the D1 club.

Very good point. The Hawks 4-0 record means the same as the Crabs 4-0 in the standings. But the Crabs are winning by dominant scores and looking like a dominant team on offense and defense. But five teams have played close games against each other (Hawks, VLC, MadLax, True, and 91) and it looks like any one of those five could beat the others on any given day. Kudos to the Hawks for grinding out one goal wins against three of the other four teams. But they do not look like the team that they did a year ago, let alone two years ago, especially on defense and LSM. That is the issue.

Crabs dad here, they beat us a month ago, and we havent beaten them in years. We'll see who is better in a few weeks.

Yes the 2025 Crabs look the best in 2026 Elite. Good job boys!!!!
