Funny ...At minimum, I saw the first two games per team posted. I have screenshot but can’t post here. You must be one of those who ran the show in MD. Unacceptable to say the least. Post the scores Sorry your kid's USCL fall ranking was messed up, but really, it's going to be okay. Spoken like a true grifter. Just blowing it off, hoping it will all just go away. How about simply doing what’s right. Take_aWay what you may.

Not exactly to do with this chain but I saw legacy 24 play in 2 different games on Saturday as I was filming before/after other games and although I saw a ton of cross checks and yellow cards, this post goes out to the parents and the coach. I haven’t heard that much complaining, yelling at the ref, yelling at the opposing girls, etc… in some time. Point of unsolicited advice for parents of legacy, this is the year that wins don’t matter at all. Your daughter won’t get recruited differently if they lose, tie, or win if they are already on competitive teams. All of that complaining is only going to drive college coaches away faster than the team earns yellow cards

I got to see 2 different halves of legacy games while helping a friend in Dallas tape some footage and the girls looked good but way to aggressive hence the multiple yellow cards each game. My comments aren’t about the girls though, they are about the parents and the coach who embarrassed themselves in front of the college coaches that were there. I was filming near the coaches and every time I heard a parent or the hc yell out to the ref, the opposing girls, or just some rant about another yellow card the coaches took a note. Please remember that this is a recruiting year, so keep your mouths shut and support the girls in a positive way

Right now I see monster at 9. That can’t stay. They are a top 5 team. Steps plays nobody at any tournament and is ranked ahead. Don’t see NEMS in the top brackets either. Yj weiner Monster M&D Heros Fla Select Team 180 Ct Grizzlies Are top 7 and not in that order. 8th spot should be up for grabs and not sure who deserves it.

Good D1 is done with 23 and laser focused on 24. 50 of the top coaches at one game at pres cup. Monster and capital had a large group too. 100% not true....tons of coaches at 23 games. one team who was not top had at least 30 there ...so Schools are taking their time this year. They felt completely rushed with the 22s. Plenty of spots for D! programs and they are still committing girls daily....so stop with that nonsense already.

There are definitely spots available and we will also see some players change their commitment.

I disagree with the if you’re good you’ll be found statement. If you’re not out into a situation where coaches will see you they won’t know who you are. That’s why you see girls flocking to teams with a grade above them that does well with recruiting and why teams like YJ are going strong for so many years. A clubs reputation gets them into better events, they have more rapport with coaches, and coaches are more likely to see them play

The rest may get recruited, but there is a big drop off. If your daughter does not start and contribute significantly, she is not in that top 5.

YJ focus is on the A team AND only the top 5 or 6 on the A team because they know that those are the girls that will commit to a top 10 school which makes it look good for the JY program

Anyone know what’s going on with Prime Time, MD scores? They aren’t posted on Tourney Machine anymore. For any team. Cause Porch’s tournies are pure money grab and she doesn’t hire table help. Also the fields are laid out wrong. No space in the middle. Wish there was an alternative. Prime Time scores posted yet??

NO ONE is doing the legwork for your kid to get recruited except YOU and your kid. Do not rely on any coach, coordinator or director at ANY club to spearhead your child’s recruiting You must teach your child how to market herself (at camps and on social media) and how to advocate for herself ( with good film and emails to coaches). Which team you are on only gets you so far. No matter how great a reputation a club has the director or coordinator can only do so much and there are a ton of girls looking for the directors help. Be proactive. Look at naviance and college board and create a list of schools then look at the lacrosse programs and see if she can realistically play their. Send your emails and film always Keep your coach and director in the loop

Send your emails and film always Keep your coach and director in the loop[/quote] Sound advice. There are a very limited number of players who will attract the attention of the coaches at the Top 10 - 20 college programs. These are the players that don’t have to market themselves, the coaches watch the players play and the proactively reach out to the player. For most , the player I needs to be proactive in Marketing themselves to college coaches. Do not believe the mantra “if you are good the college coaches will find you”. That may be true for the elite athletes but not for the majority of players. - Identify target schools - develop a plan to market yourself to coaches - Identify influencers / trusted advisors.. people who can reach out to college coaches… Club Coach, Club Director, HS Coach, current players / former players at the school that you / your daughter might know etc… who are willing to reach out and put in a good word / ask the coaches to take a look. - Be persistent (don’t be a pest) things change, coaches do not get all of the players that they want, they are consistently revising their list and prioritizing players. - if your daughter receives interest from programs that she is not interested in look for similar caliber programs at schools she might be interested in. For the most part, birds of a feather… for the most part the recruiting process will tell you what level the player is most likely at. - Coaches want players who want to go to their school and play for their program.

Some of you *do* realize entire coaching staffs were down there? So teams likely had representatives at both the 23s AND 24s, right? There were nearly 700 coaches there. There were many at 23s and 24s. The narrative that they weren’t at 24s is an agenda being pushed by clubs whose teams didn’t attend 700. How long did it take you to count all of them ? Go to the tournaments social media or coach list it tells you you bafoon Oh because they put it on their website then that means they all went. you are right i am a bafoon

No need to call anyone names, but if you go to the IWLCA instagram they state that they had "over 600 coaches". Whatever the final number was, there were a ton of coaches at Presidents Cup. There is no denying that.

Everybody knows that it's a money nothing new there. Nothing to with my kid or your kid. Just stating that whoever said there no coaches there he/she was definitely not there. Now you can both see the light.

If you went you would have seen the coaches on your daughters sideline. If you weren’t there it doesn’t matter then.

Much like the other posters stated who have gone through this process , nobody is disputing that college coaches were not on the sidelines. Unfortunately they most likely were not paying much if any attention. You do realize these coaches get paid by the event to attend these showcase tournament right ? Top 25 programs get paid upwards of $5,000 to show up. It’s not always what it appears . Bingo! Think logically people. We're 10 months out from 9/22. Many kids are unable to attend the majority of Fall tournaments due to other sports. These kids have a year to develop, an entire Spring season to play, and then summer tournament season. That's a lot of time and lacrosse long before the process of contact begins. Are Coaches taking a peak? Sure, but I wouldn't say it's anything more than that. Thank you for the clarity. Not sure why some people on here keep pushing the importance of something that has already happened.
