Express goes 6-0 Sweetlax 5-1 Hawks 1-2 NL 0-6 And Preds 2-1 The Preds will get skunked across all teams and ages. Doubt they even keep it close. I hope the Predators win. Good people running it, they took some great talent away from other teams, kids who play behind parent coaches kids, on age kids who lost spots because of older kids needing to reclass to shine on the field. I hope they succeed and silence their haters. It will be a breath of fresh air in this area if they can do it. This is the first intelligent post that I have seen about the Predators. Thanks for providing info. The prior posts have been so silly that I didn't even realize the Predators are an actual team. Let's reserve judgment and see how they do Sunday on the field. Agree. And let’s see HOW they play. With the coaches they have setting the tone, the trolling here is probably coming from somewhere else. The staff looks promising- Guys who are respected for being good people. They all know the game and have been around it for decades. No wildmen. I doubt they will get too torqued you for club lax or that we’ll hear any “break their arms!” comments coming from the coaching box.

Looney's will be the most improved team this year in HOCO Elite; additions at FO, Middie and Defense has improved this team tremendously and they will compete against the top teams in the Elite Division. They go undefeated this weekend and dominate. +1 Looneys has reloaded big time. Looking at this weekend's opponents, I doubt anybody comes within 5-6 goals. This team is for real. Last HOCO season (Spring), Looneys lost several games by one goal with no FO specialist. No FO middie or FOGO is a big weakness for any team, especially at the Elite level. They added two since then. FOGO and Midfield were their biggest weakness; in fact there was no midfielder that scared us on this team, they had zero scoring threats up top offensively. If they added FOGO help and midfield help along with their goalie and defense they are right there with the Hawks. This weekend will be interesting to see how good this team has become.

Kids/parents saw what they thought were greener pastures. The boys who left were replaced by boys who are solid athletes/lax players and fit in with the team. Should be a good year. As for some of the other comments in this thread, it really bothers me that people come on here and bash 14 YO kids. Come on folks! Identifying kids by mentioning their team and position and then trash talking about them is irresponsible (at the least) and it should be edited out by the moderators. Complimenting a player would be great, but please save the critical comments. Please. These are kids after all. Like grandma used to say, if you don't have something nice to say...

Not sure if that’s accurate; if it is I’m not sure how you recover from that! Is the goalie still there??

Comments that Looneys will be at or near the bottom of HoCo are not gonna age well. Check back later in the fall and report on whether you stand by that prediction.

One minute they have a roster of 30+ players and supposedly will lose all their games, and the next minute they’re the team to beat with 30+ players. Whatever. See you Sunday.

With the additions that were added, Looney's will be right in the mix for HOCO. It starts this weekend with a 3-0 sweep.

Sure seemed like it did when the kids all played their hearts out trying to win. Some fo the best games I have seen 13 YO boys doing their best and leaving it all out there. Guess your kid's team got beat. Keep telling yourself it didn't matter. Bet your son feels otherwise.
