Parents suggested we look at where 23s commit to see if we made the right choice in where we chose to play this year. So far it seems Ywllow jackets has a Norte dame, Yale and Syracuse commit and Jesters has a BC and Syracuse commit . Any other programs with solid 23 commits yet? Says a lot about the level of the clubs mentioned above. No, it says a lot about the players. Top Tier (top 20 - 25 girls per grade from from Long Island) would have the same opportunities no matter what club they play for. Coaches especially at the top college programs recruit players not clubs. As long as a legit player gets to play in the most competitive tournaments and is seen by the college coaches she will get offers from the top programs if she is legit. It doesn't matter what club the player is from. So true it’s about the athletes nothing to do with the club. So just Keep wearing that gear thinking it’s going to do something for your kid.

Daddy ball daughter who took the first offer she got, after a bunch of other girls turned the spot down, and former TG girl, who Jesters had nothing to do with her recruiting. TG has two big commitments so far, and a few more coming this weekend, don't you worry! Sad that some people approach the college commitment process as a race.

If you think coaches only look at the top clubs for athletes your so wrong but I’m sure your one of those dad living through their daughter as she sits the bench at that top club. The best thing you could do for your daughter and her lax career is put her on a team that checks all the boxes. The main thing is that they see value in your daughter as a player and has a good coach not just Some Dad screaming like a lunatic. Also a team that plays your daughter. You can go to the best tournaments but if your not playing what good will that do for her? If your club coach is not playing your daughter how can he promote her? How can a coach help get a girl recruited when he himself will not even play her? It’s common sense! The top athletes that play will be the ones they promote. The rest fall by the side. This happens constantly and you will always have the parents on here saying you have to be at the top club but those same parents are also the ones who are so quite once no college coaches are reaching out.

Cuse commit from Jesters is an amazing player, so pace yourself on your detest parade. No one said it was a race, shame you feel the need to come on here and belittle a KID who has made a great accomplishment. Congrats to the TG kids with big commitments as well !! (so how easy that was??) LONG ISLAND 2023's getting a lot of love from some big time programs

YJ players traditionally made up the bulk of the UA Rosters even in years when no YJ connected people were involved in coaching or evaluating.

I dont know why this is still a conversation. Lots of solid 24's at UA, and the top YJ 25's for sure from what I heard. Next year everyone can complain about being able to do both.

The D3 coaches are doing the trickle down time line now when all the kids that thought they’d get D1 fall commits don’t, these coaches will looked at 24s and other 23s so they can pick up the 23 fall out and be prepared for the 24s. There will also be d2 and D1 at 24 tournaments like presidents cup. If you think otherwise, good luck to your kid

Same parents who don’t think coaches will be looking at 24s this year are the same coaches that think their cruddy club will help get them into a top 10 school Let the fools be fools.

Same parents who don’t think coaches will be looking at 24s this year are the same coaches that think their cruddy club will help get them into a top 10 school 2024 is a weak class. They will have no where near the attention of the 2023s. Heard it from several coaches How did you hear it from several coaches? Please do tell?

Is the jesters daddy 24 coach mentioned over the summer still coaching? Has the club shifted coaching staff for any of their 24 teams yet? I don’t see anything about who coaches which teams on the website. I think he is still part of the coaching staff. Just not head coach? They brought in Tilts as the head coach, from what I hear.
