Lots of shuffling going on. What's up with Looneys? Players going elsewhere.

Lots of shuffling going on. What's up with Looneys? Players going elsewhere. Looney’s will be just fine!! Great coaches, great kids and great parents. Everyone of those kids on the team and those coming are going to get better and play at the next level which is the ultimate goal.

Why are people so interested in the Hawks? Or is it just 1-2 people with an agenda? Serious question. So much interest in a team already declared on here to no longer be relevant. Short lived. Predators are in town now, They will be the talk of town next year

[quote=Anonymous]Towerman dad…what happened at qualifier? Oh that’s right you didn’t qualify……only got in after team cried enough[/quote
The Towermen troll is back! So much anger. Maybe take up a hobby where you can find a release for all this “detest.” MMA perhaps? Honestly, the holdback stuff is ridiculous but no rules are being broken and unless the powers that be change the rules, it’s really irrelevant. Towermen have improved and it’s unfortunate they didn’t play at the NLF to test themselves against the best clubs. They’re on age team has gotten better and the added holdbacks certainly help them compete against the elite organizations.

Only good looneys players were defense and goalie. Nah that team has talent but could use some help on the midfield line. Coaching will get this team where they need to be.

All this talk on hawks is hilarious. We haven’t lost to a HOCO team and we won’t. Exactly, you used to be a top national team and now you’re a top local team.

Hawks can’t even beat BlackOps- a part-time team that barely practices together. Beating up on FCA, Looneys and 91MD don’t make you a great team. The Hawks kids work hard and should be proud of their success but development and coaching isn’t cutting it for that team. Plenty of good players but the window has closed on being the best at 2026.

Not a Hawk parent, HOCO comment was very strange, however; give credit were credit is due win or lose the Hawks organization as a whole is playing in the major leagues and getting bashed for not winning ever time they step on the field. Were is the "other" Annapolis team ie True that calls themselves elite? Do not even see their so called national teams at any of these tournaments. The Hawks are a very good team and organization that win consistently at a high level.

To be fair, you forgot to add that BlackOps is an all-star team. That’s the reason they “barely practice” together, though I’m sure they got a few in leading up to WSYL where they beat the Hawks in OT on just a world class turn and rip. I’m not sure your evidence supports your argument that their window is closed. They won their pool at NLF and lost by 1 to a team that also beat LIE by 1. Four losses this season by a total of four goals. I think it’s premature to say their window has closed or that they’re not a top national team. Do I think Chaney and Tigers and Sweetlax are intimidated when playing against the Hawks? No, but I don’t think their pregame talk is about what they’re having for lunch later. The Hawks aren’t undefeated, but they’re in the arena playing hard and battling alongside a lot of other great teams. You beating on them behind a keyboard isn’t going to change that.

Lol Hung out with lots of Hawks parents this weekend at our hotel. Sounds like they have had four 1 goal losses in the last month or so. Most teams would be happy with that season. One thing I know is that they are a tight group of parents and kids that enjoy playing and hanging out together. Most teams should be that lucky.

Lose the attitude, bet the bashing stops. But we all know hawks parents are not capable of humility.

Teams will retool and reload for next season and the debate on who is best can start again.

Other than BL boarders did crabs add anyone to roster? Tryouts are over but the roster is not available on their website. The grapevine says they added a goalie, an attack and some defense but nothing definitive until the roster is posted. We all know how the rumor mill is filled with mostly nonsense.
