NLF Rankings
1 Annapolis Hawks 2 Tigers XXVI 3 Sweetlax NY 4 Team 91 LI 5 LI Express 6 BBL Elite 7 Eclipse LC 8 Crabs 9 Laxachusetts Black 10 2 Way 11 Tommyknockers 12 Legacy LI 13 Madlax Capital 14 Prime Time 15 Express North 16 HHH 17 Resolute 18 Sweetlax Florida 19 Denver Elite 20 3d NE NLF rankings are a joke. Team 91 LI at 4 and over LI Express? BBL at 6? HHH at 16? All three of those teams are grossly over ranked in the NLF rankings. HHH literally only won one game in the NXT Midatlantic Spring League and none of the teams they lost to are ranked in here except the Tigers. Makes no sense. Who ever did these rankings has clearly no idea about most these teams and the rest of the top 2026 teams not included in these rankings Agreed

NLF ranks look most current with spring games. World Series rank was before the qualifier so not as current. US Club Lacrosse ranking was updated through January 19, 2021.

Let's face it if a parent and player feels the need to play down or as it is referred to on this forum "holdback" or "reclass" and show up in the summer tournaments for the all "important" playing time because they where not good enough or buried on the depth chart. We wish you and your family all the best. The best part is when they do NOT actual stay back or reclass and show up on the first day of school as a 9th grader. So these rankings are not indicative of anything. All the matters is the win on that particular day and the players present which again we all know is a revolving door for a few based on club and player not the "core team."
see you all this summer... Unfortunately, coaches and club owners allow and welcome this culture. They don’t care who they screw over in the process. The only thing they care about is winning tournaments and will do whatever they need to do to win.

Hawks LI Express Upstate Tigers Towermen Not again with the Towermen Not associated with Crabs in anyway. Nice try though bud. The Crabs record speaks for itself. Personally I am not a fan of how they operate with all those holdbacks as it gives them an unfair advantage to teams with players that are all on age, but their record this spring speaks for itself. They’ve only lost to the hawks in close games. Do the math. Their 2025 players are clearly helping them.

This is pretty funny. Looking at HOCO score board reveals they played Hawks twice. First game Hawks blew them out. Second game was championship, which I attended while standing in a driving rain storm. While score was close Hawks dominated play and left maybe 10 goals on the field do to poor weather conditions. In the championship, like when they played my son’s team in the semi’s, the Crabs were a divided team. Clearly older looking boys played entire game, while the on age kids stood on the side line and never stepped foot the field. Shame to see, but by next year there will be little standing around as word is a handful of kids plan to repeat 8th grade next year in order to join the team.

We know we were 3-2 at the World Series and have not done anything impressive in any tournaments and we did not qualify, but we are happy we got a lucky break with the international teams dropping out and hope to put up some wins before we go to BBL or LE next season. Maybe we can put together a run we are working hard.

Haha. Good one. You forgot to mention that we haven’t lost to a NJ team in 3 years and we’ve played everyone of the them multiple times. BBL, LE, and Jersey Express will all have their shot at us this summer but until then we are the best team in NJ.

Question inspired from a post a few pages back....
How are teams splitting playing time between two goalies at this point? My kid's team in the AA bracket of Hoco and carried two goalies. The goalies generally split time each game...one would play each half.
I get the sense that is more unusual than not in the Elite division. Is that true? Do kids alternate games? Do the #2 goalies barely get to play?
Obviously, the kids are getting older and this is the natural progression that will come with high school and top lax. Just curious if it started already for these teams.

At this stage clubs should split time generally equally, point of club is to develop skills, plus you are spending money. If not playing you should find new club. HS different and should be based on performance.

Depends on the team, the goalies, the game. Are you going to pull a goalie who is hot in a big game? Can’t really answer the question because it is a case by case situation. There are elite and AAA who carry second goalies who do not see much time. There are others who split. Too many factors involved.

Goalie has a better chance in high school club splitting time than in youth level were it’s still about winning tournaments alongside developing players.
