McD with an impressive second half. BL is not strong and is not a team based offense players dodging for themselves very predictable. Heres hoping BL defensemen injury isn’t too serious BL suffered a bad injury to top player who also is best defenseman. Once he went out things changed. They are in trouble with that and fact that top,offensive guy is never healthy and has missed significant time every season doesn’t bode well. Great talent when playing but missed time two years ago and also missed the entire fall with another significant injury Loyola is challenged offensively but is hands down best D around. Many interesting scores think the fact last year was lost and people aren’t as familiar with young talent in league there will be more surprises. Spaulding MCD will be a fun one BL gave up 15 goals! 15 Goals!! Let that sink in... How many of the goals were after the injury?

He's a great player, but at a school like BL, 1 defenseman shouldnt mean the difference between giving up 4 and 11 goals. That's a team effort.

Spaulding MCD will be a fun one Injury derails BL hopes I agree,also don’t have any faith BL attack man can stay healthy. He never has before and has had a ton of injuries. BL offense is not team orientated. Think Spaulding McD game will be closer than many think. The Loyola loss could be good for them. Really think it’s a wide open race for first time in a long time

Loyola by 5-10. Seriously, it's that lopsided. The Saints just lost by 6 in their home opener. The Dons are better (most depth in the Conference) than MCD plus playing at Loyola is a whole different kettle of fish. Sure it is. Spalding and StM will take most Baltimore teams this year. Heard it here first. Mark it Dude !

Unless CH repeats again - the season will have an * next to it. All teams making the playoffs makes the regular season irrelevant. Top 5 teams get a bye. Not sure who the genius is that came up with this format - but - it significantly changes a coaches approach. Spend the season experimenting, don’t show too much film and stay healthy.

Mcd v Spalding...That was a great game!....there were stretches in that game it looked like a college game - the speed and athletes out there!..very entertaining!...2 observations...mcd very athletic and will go uptempo with results...Spalding has more than 3-4 MIAA-A level shooters...more like 7-8...great game!!!...

When the HC at CH realizes #1 shouldn’t be on the field with the game on the line the better off this team will be. How many times do we need to watch him turn the ball over in critical situations on offense and get run by on defense before he gets benched! So many more deserving kids on the bench!!! #familyfriend

That was a dense post. Spalding looked really good, and I was at the game on the McD side. It was a great game, and Spalding was the best team McDonogh has played to date (including BL and SM). Also learn to spell Spalding. Have a good weekend!

After watching these games today, I have to admit the MIAA is very mediocre this year. Wide open conference. Could not disagree more! Did you watch any of the games today? All of them were very competitive with a ton of Division 1 players all over the place. Mediocre is the last thing this league is. Wide open It is though! 4 it he top 5 teams playing to 1 or 2 goal games.Any week this league can change the script which is why is so great!

After watching these games today, I have to admit the MIAA is very mediocre this year. Wide open conference. Anyone know if the MIAA was invited to join in on the IAC - WCAC championships this year. Would be a pretty cool event to have all 3 conferences compete against each other.

Once the Ripley kid graduates Daddy Lids will lose interest, the money will dry up and the program will go back to losing to Broadneck and John Carroll.
