Terrible decision...we are outside!! Just show up, no way for them to check.
Or maybe follow the rules so the girls can continue to play and not be penalized because of parents like you.

Garrison and Bryn Mawr do not allow visiting team spectators either

there is no logical reason that at least 1 visiting spectator shouldn't be able to attend GCS, GF or BM games

I completely agree that it is ridiculous that they are not allowing spectators (it's outside, give me a break)...but I also think some of these girls are probably enjoying the "quiet" instead of screaming crazy parents (since there are WAY too many out there).

One person should be permitted to attend games for carpool reasons alone because teams are not traveling via bus this season and players are responsible for their own rides. Not every team in the IAAM has 16 year old 9th and 10th graders who can drive themselves.

Is there a IAAM school that does have 16 year old freshman and sophomore that drive?

Don’t confuse the IAAM with the MIAA

Don't kid yourself - plenty of holdbacks in the IAAM.

On its way? they were top 2 or 3 in the league the past few years. They've been there. Not sure they have enough to win it all, but they should be near tops of the league again. GCS has beaten NDP 2 out of past 3 games they've played with each game being a 1 or 2 goal game. Will probably be close again.

Maybe the schools that play BM, GCS, and GF should ban fans of those schools. Totally silly parents are unable to watch a game outside at their schools.

I am sorry other schools don’t cater to you. What are they thinking?

GCS didn't cater to kids in their own school and that's why so many left in January. They would rather virtue signal than listen to science or to the parents paying tuition.

No one on the girls lax team left. if you are referring to the few on the boys team that left, they left to attend a school in that plays in the MIAA A division. there was no mass exodus of students from gcs. they are one of the few schools back in school 4 days a week.

Thank you for the apology. I really don't know what they are thinking as it is totally clueless response to the current situation. Playing basketball inside a gym, I get it. But standing outside watching a game is not allowed?? Really??

Oh sorry, they must be going through something different. If not, the other schools should hold them to the same standard.

Tight game. GCS will be in the Semis and have a real chance to win it all. People can say what they want, but GCS can beat any top team.

Considering McD almost lost to Maryvale yesterday I don’t think anyone should be saying who will be in the semis. I’d say a lot of teams have a chance this season.

Stop trolling. No GCS parent or player wrote this. It’s a long season with tough games ahead.

Agree. This is a weird season after no having a season. This season seems to be riddled with early injuries as well. It could be anyone’s year. Why don’t the hot heads just sit back and watch some great IAAM lacrosse and be glad there is a season.

Congrats. You beat 2 of the worst teams in the conference and only scored 4 goals against one of the best.

GCS parent here. No GCS parent is coming on here bragging about beating Garrison or Severn. Stop feeding the troll.

they haven't played the 2 worst teams in the conference yet. GF and Severn each have 1 win. there are several teams with no wins.

So reading comprehension isn’t your forte? The post said 2 of the worst. Not the 2 worst. I’m pretty certain neither GF or Severn will end up with more than 3 or 4 wins. John Carroll, Mt de Sales and Gerstell will also end up in the bottom 5.

So you don't think those 5 along with Roland Park will be the bottom of the IAAM this year? If not, who will? There's a clear segregation between McDonogh, SPSG, NDP, Glenelg, Brwn Mawr, Maryvale, Spalding and St. Mary's and the other 6,

Clear segregation? No.

Not enough games have been played.

Take St Mary's for example. St Mary's barely beat JC and Gerstell. And gave Maryvale a game. This is gonna be a weird year with Covid and shutdowns. Any given weekday.

GCS had 2 top players out with injury. GCS going to turn more heads than people give them credit for. And they are still young, many starters sophomores and juniors.
