Please folks these are scrimmage games. Coaches and players should be working on things to get better and not necessarily worry about winning the game. Coaches are looking at seconds and thirds to see what kind of depth they will have we they season starts.

And no one has seen these teams since 2019. It's possible there could be a few surprises this year.

BL is following the CHC out of state transfer model with their new dorm construction. If you can't beat them ? Join them !

McD had multiple out of state players the last couple of years, and I am not talking about the ones commuting from PA or DE.

And apparently St.P had out of state players living in the coach's home in 2019 (still didn't do much good).

Winning lax games is big money I guess.

Excessive numbers of out of state transfers and/or intense recruiting battles will backfire on these schools when the sons of affluential alumni don't see the field or make the team - Gilman football all over again.

Winning is good for making good alumni. Losing is good for making excuses. Time for the lacrosse teams to battle. Good luck.

The days of local talent for winning Championships are over for the most part, You need to bring in some talent as CH has demonstrated the last few years. BL is getting in on the program with their recent dorm purchase and renovation, McD has picked up bringing in talent in their dorms instead of for so called academic students, like some brainiac will help win a MIAA Championship. Matter of time before others get in on the out of state players or rebel and change the rules. Doubtful they change.

Considering some of the schools are now semi-boarding schools, I don't know how they could change the rules. The rules already forbid "recruiting", but we know that is bull.

Does CH play a close league game this year?

There is nothing wrong with people sending their kids or moving to a location for school. If you can better the chances of success for your family, why not. This is America snowflake. Its how we got started- land of opportunity. We have great schools here, are well located, and yeah, great lacrosse. I say go for it schools- market to the country. Baltimore is least is winning at high school lacrosse (if not much else).
