Not sure why that is cool. Gad you are playing, but week comp and not more than a game a day seems less than ideal. Wouldn't you rather your boy play 2 games a day against top teams?

My sons team is in this is well. Most of these teams are doing 3-4 fall tournaments in addition to this schedule. It’s a lot of games for a fall season. Kids seem to like it

Well all the teams in it are competitive with each other, I do like the tournaments but kids are burnt out, and to be honest, I have other things to do during the day other kids etc, so 1 regular timed game in a way is fine. Not sure why that is cool. Gad you are playing, but week comp and not more than a game a day seems less than ideal. Wouldn't you rather your boy play 2 games a day against top teams?

They played a bit longer than what a regular game would be. About 80 minutes all together. Express won 22-7. It was not even close.

In my opinion it’s not one thing it’s everything. Coaching style, speed and most of all unselfish play and ball movement. Kids on express learn how to play together and not get stuck in “plays”. They fly and move and help each other out . Fun to watch.

Tons more competition going now that is on the east coast Express thinks every team outside of New York that completely dismantles them is full of hold backs. So they think when they get to WSYL none of these teams will be there. The real truth is they are a middling B level team that is good on long Island but gets crushed outside of it. It's going to be a long WSYL for those parents

You have no idea what you're talking about . The express team just this past weekend dismantled team 91 , score was 12-4. Then went to jersey and embarrassed the tigers 10-1. Tigers are one of the top teams in this age bracket . And no they have never played in a B bracket . Nice try though .

After watching a few of their games recently, the ball only makes it to their defensive end about 10% of the time.

At NAL you played in the Blue division against the Black Division lost to FCA which was the B bracket Red and Silver were your A brackets and Sweetlax lost to Hawks

NAL had a clear A and B setup, but did not label them that way to keep clubs happy. Black (FCA, BLC, Crabs and Top Caliber) and Blue (Express, Legacy, Express North and LE) made up what would be the B division. The A division was Red (Sweetlax, BBL, Madlax and Looneys) and Silver (Hawks, Tigers, Towerman and Prime Time). Express lost the B title to FCA and Hawks beat Sweetlax for the A title.

Until you can step up and play with the best teams in your own state, let alone other states. I do believe Sweetlax was in the Championship of that, then shut up.

There will be multiple MD teams this year, yes, we know about the birth certificates. We also know that Express will search all of Long Island and beyond for additional players for the WSYL team. The tough task will be getting a roster with no more than 23.

Getting a roster of 23 is easy...getting the other parents of the other 17 kids to keep paying while their son isn't even invited is the challenge.

You must not know the parents of the bottom half of that team, they will glad pay to say their boy is on the team and will even order some WSYL gear online while little Johnny sits at home instead of playing due to roster limit.

These are generally the same boys that have been together for a few years. There were definitely additions but not from other top programs. They have 3 teams for this age group. The top team has 28 boys. Certainly gonna be some pissed off parents when they cut the roster for the WSYL.
