Rebels have just as good a shot as anyone else not named "Express." The real question is: which group of parents will decide it's worth spending thousands of dollars to leave Long Island in the summer to travel to Denver and lose by double digits to a team you've already lost to multiple times in Huntington, Uniondale, and Old Westbury?

Nobody can just sign up, you have qualifying tournament in April. If a team qualifies they have the option to go to Denver. I understand it’s an unbelievable experience, and I will be watching. But you have to the judge if it’s worth it from individual standpoint. Not being a naysayer. But the decision tree is different based on which team your son is on. Honestly, and I know this frustrates people. If my son’s was not in a position to make a deep run at the tourney, as currently constructed, I would ask the club to find age eligible players from the 2024s. I feel if you are willing to make the investment in the trip, the club is obligated to use the rules and put the best team out there. I know what about the kids that get left off or lose playing time. This is an isolated event and has different rules. And my son and family are not going and have no plans to go.

Find age eligible players? Stop. How about save the money and enter 3 more local tournaments, And still save $5K!!! The kids get better by playing, not flying. The real tournament is the qualifiers. Hopefully they are selling t shirts there. Id rather spend $20 than $5000

Legacy bashing not from anyone that left for 91. Everyone still talks and won't be surprised if some try to get back now with Zummo and the Taz staff running the team. Bashers are the ones that left after and are upset no one stopped them from leaving
Express parent- Its Fall. CoachC is a salesmen. Once the checks all clear the same 14 will play come June. Sad the opposing team parents all know their names because that is all CoachC yells . Sure he will remember your kid when it comes to recruiting years....
World Series is up to 7 or 8 northeast teams this year.It is in a park not the stadium. If your team is going to make it not based on the strength of the 2025's great. If you are paying $10k just to watch 8th graders play over your kid you are warped and forget why your kid is supposed to be playing sports.

Legacy apparently just woke up after being asleep at the 2025 team's wheel for the past three years, first letting the crazy parents who left for 91 run the team, then letting others leave without a fight to go to lesser programs. If it's true that Zummo and the Taz staff are now running the 2025 team, that's a huge change in the right direction, as that Taz team is to 2024 what Express is to 2025. If that change happened two years ago, you might see a very different 2025 landscape. Does anyone know what happened to the prior coach?

The mule had to come in and take it over before everyone jumped ship. Once he did, he stopped playing multiple fall tourneys.

Don’t know the details and don’t care, just a shame what happened to the Geese. They were the best team just two years ago and now they are struggling to compete with the top teams.

Although they do tend to the mylacrosse.com tournaments and NFL tournaments since Dynamic makes money on those. Its unusual for them to do only 1 tournament. The one they are playing in Deleware, North American Fall Invite, is a competitive tournament though.

Sounds about right with 91 2025 , that is 91's style . They don't play in tournaments they don't feel they can win or any tournaments that they don't own which they also rig the schedules so they can win easily. What a joke

It's all understood if it's a good business decision but they need to keep their mouths shut about being the best etc....when they don't play any good competition. Especially the dad's, when you know that they avoid good competition you lose all say in terms of boasting like the do . They do it for every year too, 91 plays in their weak tournaments then pound their chests with their new t shirts with their fingers held up high saying theyre number one , lol.

Wow. This board just jumped the shark. Grammar insults?
Let me tell you what happened over the last few pages.
-Express is the top team in the age group. That is not up for debate. -People bash Express because they have big numbers, but really just because they are so much better than everyone else and parents wish their kid's played for them. -Express plays in as many tourneys as they can and people on the team are enjoying their experience. -91 parents think they should get more respect. They won't get it. -91 is the second best team, but too inconsistent to be in the same class as Express. -People bash 91 because they want to try to bring them down to their son's club team's level. They are not. They are still much much better than everyone besides Express, but have lost several games they probably could have won. -91 doesn't play in as many Fall or Spring tourneys, but have an excellent winter training/box schedule which keeps them busier and practicing more than any other club team on the age group. -Geese parents used to be crazy and talked a bunch a few years back, so now everyone is happy to see them struggle. -The Geese parents who have bounced around are now trashing Express and 91 because their boys were unable to sustain the level of play they had when they were in 4th grade and can't stay on a top team. -Gold Rush and Rebels have good competitive teams, but are not in the same class as the top 2. -There are many other clubs with many kids that are working hard to get better every year; however, these teams are likely not in the conversation with the teams mentioned. And that is 100% ok.

I just can’t believe there is actually a person out there, who has this much knowledge on 12 year old boys Long Island club lacrosse. I can speak from experience, my oldest plays in college. His team was average at best 4th,5th,6th,7th grade. Teams records mean zero. Enjoying the experience and improving means everything. You people arguing over which team is better, sound so ignorant. If you only knew. One guy earlier was writing a team was skipping tournaments because it’s good for business. What planet are you from. It’s October, weather is perfect, kids who are 12 want to play lacrosse against their friends on the other teams. They can’t play because it hurts the clubs business. Do you even hear yourselves.

Force Triolo 2025 is a very good team. I would put them in that tier below 91. They'll play competitively and beat just about anyone outside of Express and 91. However, Force as a club leaves much to be desired. Yes, they are one of the cheaper clubs out there but to your point, you get very little for that money. Can't say they are one of the best clubs when they are a doormat in other age groups. Just my opinion
