There are not any freshman repeating freshman year. Crabs did not even hold a tryout. DC dogs, Hawks, Crabs are at the top of this class. Looney's took a step back and DCE and FCA about the same. No more ELITE label just the teams are what they are.

You whiners need to get a life The whole re-class argument has gotten so old and completely overblown it's laughable. In a few years these same clowns will be claiming there are 20 year olds on a 9th grade team. ANYTHING to justify the reason their kids can't make Crab's or one the other top clubs when the simple reality is that some boys don't and will never have the athleticism, size, strength, skill or work ethic to play at the highest level of the sport.

Holdbacks need to hit the wall to improve actual lacrosse skills now that the other kids have hit puberty.

All top Clubs in Maryland and frankly now many other areas top clubs are full of holdbacks. That is a Fact ! It is not overblown at all. While you are right in that many kids will never make it no matter what. Lacrosse has a huge amount of 5-8 to 5-11 athletic guys that compete against each other all the way up to 12th grade. Holding back makes a difference for these guys. We arent football, BB , getting the best athletics, we are lacrosse getting the next level down with the occasionally true blue athletic stud ( who doesnt care who is held back, he is better) .

Breakers, Looneys, 91, Crabs No one is leaving Looneys Orange to play for a possible Rock 2023 team. The one kid who might have -- because of St. Pauls connection -- is staying with Looneys.

Perhaps the oddest statement I've read on this forum...and that's saying something.

Yes they are. The powers that be still promised that kids from PA would fill out the MD team for HoCo and tournaments...the failure of that experiment is one of the reasons that 2023 Rock folded last year.

You don’t play HoCo anymore in High School...ya dumsky... you have no idea what you are talking about.. most High School teams are national teams

So how many Maryland 2023 teams is Rock fielding? Crabs mysterious. Looneys plummeted. FCA Blue improved, White went backwards. Who else? Probably 2 teams at Rock..They picked up some good players locally as well from PA..A bunch of good Goalies and attack. Team 91 tryouts a joke...Total money grab....Koopers looking to make a resurgence at 2023 as well....Crabs had player tryout all summer...Their team is set without any tryouts.....High school a different ballgame...Most of the local teams really never play each other anymore in 9th grade....They all do their own tournament schedule with little play between each other..

Looneys and FCA not a factor for anyone not attending CHC or Loyola.... They are kind of limiting themselves to only their High School players....Good for the short term but horrible for the long term...Hence this why you are seeing an uptick with other clubs..A lot of good players out there going to others schools besides CHC and Loyola

Rock sounds like the biggest surprise if accurate. What clubs did those kids leave? Koopers was hyped after tryouts last year and lost every game in HoCo A.
