Ok, so the SWR win is so important at many levels. First is kids changing school districts for lacrosse. Dumb Idea. Second, dads holding their kids back and promoting them as “best in age group”, when they had the ball with 30 sec and couldn’t produce. Kudos to the kids who believed in themselves and their town and worked hard to prove people wrong. Goodnight MS see you next year. it was a really close game If the Pole from MS did not get hurt in the 4th, I don't think SWR would have won..

Guess JR could not save the day! Couldnt even get a goal except for the one fed him on the crease that an 8 year old non-holdback could have dunked. Don't worry JR, I hear Adelphi will take alumni legacy players.

That's why they play the games. Congrats to SWR. Looking forward to another chapter in SWR vs. CSH.

Nope...it was the County Championship, that's a big deal to the winners, and devastating to the losers. Months of work goes into that game, as well being the last game for the seniors.

This is perfectly on point. SWR played exceptional players seemed to want it more and players made plays when needed every time. Was a great night for HS lacrosse. Great coaching by SWR faceguarding JS with very good defenseman which seemed to confuse MS and made it difficult for MS to generate 6v6 offense without him getting the ball SWR offense was really good not many turnovers and #6 was the unsung hero through my eyes

Listen many many of these boys are friends Both teams played their hearts out. Lets not make this so nasty Is is an amazing player evidenced by our coach locking him off with our best defensemen. Last night we were just better and the championship is were it belongs. That said these teams are so talented and you could have Different winner everytime we play and chances are it’ll be the same set up next year. Lets all take the high road here

Should be a Nassau sweep for the LIC's. 33% of the way there... B is a lock with Manhasset and I like CSH and Massapequa as well. Will be surprised if it is not a sweep. The A game will be the closest.

2019 West Islip was toast when a crooked clique took over about 7 years ago. All the guidelines that people with real knowledge and experience put in place were thrown out. Then they formed a tournament team without a tryout and brought in kids from other towns to fill in the gaps. A worse decision could not have been made. Combine that with a milquetoast AD who let the inmates run the asylum and that’s why WI has gone off a cliff. You can actually mark the day one donk moved to town as the day it all changed. He could be seen swinging a lacrosse stick like a golf club.He would tell you how his kid was the best in the county and could be anywhere. The WI program was #1 in the US on that day. A simple point graph to reflect the difference between then and now would resemble the flight path of a 737 Max. Crooked adults = Lousy results.

You must be #24’s mom or something if you call that great coaching by Shoreham. That was 100% rec league ball. He has at least 15 studs on that team and the crowbars was treated to C bracket PAL performance of let 1 kid do everything. I mean, he even chased his own missed shots and cleared out the real attackmen to take his spot up top so he can invert it and the. Shoot again and again and again with a pass until the final point. Anymore on could’ve run the score up on Mount Sinai with the personnel available at sure am, but that wasn’t the case. That is why I will be taking my son to another district to play because I will not waste all of the years of training he put in and all of the work he did to get his team into a championship for him to stand there and watch one kid being coached and everybody else just to get out of his way

Half the goals put up by SWR were from the man he was trying, unsuccessfully, to guard. A convenient excuse for a loss though.

Exciting game, could not have asked for more in a Championship game both teams should be proud . However there was a momentum change 1/2 way thru 4th and my opinion is SWR took that game. Lacrosse on LI is best in country.

Even in class B WI will struggle. They do not run any offense they just stand and pass the ball around till they turn it over. New coach... angry parents...lots to fix before they will be back on top.

In WI not the coach just crazy 2020 parents that think their kids are the best when all they did every summer was play in C tournaments and win . Now they can not produce on the field and want to blame other people because they are terrible . Wake up and look in the mirror , and you can start with the main cancer in the stands yelling to his kid to stay on the field , talking about every kid on the field that is in competition with his son ... Good Luck

Have no clue about the game or player, but must have impressed someone if he is D1....Stop being bitter, the player doesn't get to choose who guards him.

Proud of our boys!! Now on to CSH. Have not seen CSH any thoughts on that

The CSH kid has whooped every F/O he has faced this season(including the guy he goes against in practice every day) with the exception of the John Jay kid. That includes Manhasset and the kid from Massapequa (granted it was a scrimmage). He is very good. As for age, he would qualify for every tournament for '20s that US Lacrosse has established age guidelines for so stop whining...Ask your son if he is good and he'll tell you.

The guy complaining about csh being spoon fed a championship. LOL. They beat who they are grouped with year in and year out for the last, forever AND win most of their non conference games against very good programs year in and year out. What's the gripe? And every single year they have won Nassau county they either won the State Championship or lost to the eventual winner. It's a great program from a small pool of kids-no inherent advantage over the other small schools it competes against. Stop hating.
