I think we could add the Bay Shore faceoff kid to 2021 he's tiny but quick. The Islip faceoff kid I think is 2022. Riverhead kid is also very good for 2019 so is Ward Melville

Just read this on Inside Lacrosse write up of the St. A/ Cham game "Despite being just a sophomore,****** was the only one who was consistently able to take advantage of his matchups and create offense." Are you freaking kidding??? the kid is supposed to be a senior and they're saying only a sophomore???? What is wrong with this sport and shame on Inside Lacrosse!!! BTW I'm a big fan of the kid, great player, but c'mon, really??

I've seem him be beat good by many of the other top 2020. He is hot and cold, and a baby when he loses, pretends to be hurt. The ST. A 2020 is much better than him.

St. A kid is quicker than him. He's also been beat by a couple others, and has also beaten them. I wouldn't really say that any of the 2020s have truly separated themselves at the X. I would say Cham kid is the best field play of the bunch however.

Throughout the league their are some great FO specialists who don't get the credit because they are not on these teams. Many schools have sophomore and freshman starting at X and doing a great job against committed seniors. These kids are also "true Freshman and true Sophomores" The private schools are very good, but let's give some love to the kids whose parents chose to send them to public school.

These kids are also "true Freshman and true Sophomores" The private schools are very good, but let's give some love to the kids whose parents chose to send them to public school. No one is saying a player is better simply because of the school they attend. There are individual players who have proven themselves on a national level during the summer circuit and game after game at the high school level. That is why they may be considered better on an individual basis, then other players. If they attend a “private” school so be it. When you talk about “private” schools on LI, you really mean Catholic. This is not Maryland. To insinuate that because a kid goes to Chaminade or St As, they are not a “true freshman” or “true sophomore” is ludicrous. Obviously there are some holdbacks, but 90% of the kids are in the appropriate grade for their age. There of plenty of public school holdbacks too. But again, this is not Maryland so the issue is minor.

What happened to Hills East and Northport? Will they even make the playoffs this year? Smithtown East needs four more wins for playoffs. I only see 2 definite, but anything is possible Hills East with only 3 league wins needs 5 more for playoffs. North Babylon and Floyd are 2 wins, maybe Sachem East. Looking for 2 more wins from Commack, Northport, Smithtown East who will all need the win also. Northport needs 3 they have 3 doable in Sachem North, Hills east and Huntington. Maybe pick off a distracted Bayshore team at the end. Sachem North is in, dont see 4-3 Sachem East getting 8 divisional wins. Commack only has 2 league wins, needs to run the table, ain't happening. Floyd needs 3 wins for playoffs, I only see 2 weak schedules never help. Smith and Hills east games will show Suffolk Power points are full of $hit. Those games will show Floyd never belong.

Agree, West Islip farrrrrr..... from being a good team I don't like bashing any teams but WI parents are very tough to listen to and someone has been hyping this years team up for a while now. It has been a long time since WI has had a good team and I don't think they will be in contention this year either.

That game proved don't count anyone out! More so, maybe shows resilience, something needed to go the stretch. Tough loss for Riverhead, but for West Islip a win by 1, 5 or 10 is still a win.

Dominating ? you squeeked by Riverhead in OT and you managed a whopping 2 goals against Ward Melville. Get ready for a blow out loss tomorrow. All of the chest pounding done in West Islip will not help the team.
