Does the Knights have a 2026 team ? Yes, about 1/2 returning. Wasn't there talk of them combining with the Outlaws for a second team at his age level... or possibly taking on more for their one. The 2025 Knights partnered with the Outlaws... they even register under their site.

There really was no merge.

How are kids moving from Rebels? They just started up. Doesn't make sense. "Players" being plural... so multiple kids have already moved on to other teams?

Just trying to work out best practice time for all players, sinxe so maby of us also play fall sports. They practice twice a week right now, plus organization added for all teams 2026-2031 three dates in October for additional training clinics. 2025 Rebels has practice time at same time as 2026. So one time the coaches decided to train them together. Too funny. Do you send scouts to spy on other teams? Are you not happy where you are?

This sounds like an Outlaw parent or coach trying to create negative buzz about the Rebels. Pretty obvious someone saw that combined practice and made it seem like it was a bigger thing than it was by saying they team folded/merged.

Both teams are based in the Huntington area. Maybe the Rebels 2026 and Outlaws 2026 will get to go at it in the Tristar tournament? Cue to announcer “Brawl at Mitchel Field! Only one Huntington team will walk with local bragging rights!”
Or, we can just let the kids play lacrosse and have fun..

Good tournament yesterday , all that talk from Legacy parents month or 2 ago people were right the team is not a A , AA team at all . Lost to BBL and 91 easily. No express in tournament and igloo A. Sorry all that must of been true about Legacy EELs there is trouble there sorry to say !!! They will run off LI again the rest of the year and not face top teams in 2026. Even off LI they don’t win. Too many daddy coaches .

Furthermore, the coaches will be there long term, have a ton of practices, and we have no issue with favoritism. 5- Either you have really fat fingers or you were hitting the PBR early with that illiterate response
Who cares why you explaining yourself? You know what you guys can do go win some tournaments and prove it with your coaches resume , tons of practices and your 1k cheaper Have fun . You're an stunad. Coaches resume? What, is he an elementary school teacher that has knowledge about lacrosse? Don't get hung up on all that resume talk at this age, let alone at any age. Just because someone may have been a stand out player, doesn't necessary mean he can teach/coach the game. Do daddy coaches get paid or free tuition or both ? I have seen favoritism with daddy coaches , they play it off like they are harder on there kid but game situation there son is in before someone else most of the time. I have no idea what their compensation is. My point above was a response to the fat fingered guy. People may have had bad experiences with "daddy" coaches, as I had in the past. I was referring to our experience with these coaches on this particular team. There is no favoritism, and they run a very good practice and my son is developing nicely and gets plenty of playing time. Some people on here are obsessed with this organization. If you moved on, be happy, but apparently you are not and have to justify your move. We moved on from another team, wish them well, and take ownership of our decisions. Well said. Best of luck in the season. Yes good luck this year Legacy lol !!! Crazy parents B team . All talk remember

So the rebels do have a 2026 team? Many reports floating around that they folded at this age or are combining with the 2027's (what parent would want that If they do have a team... ?) Lol to Rebels playing in the B Division of their own tournament. Some "elite AA" travel club they have over there. Let's see how Mike Brennan responds to this post....

Rebels 2026 parent here... There definitely is a team. Perhaps there are some growing pains mixed with the time of the year and conflicts with other sports, but it's been rare so far to have the whole team at practice at once. The directors have addressed this. I don't think anyone is happy about that. I think the team has talent, but after just one month the team hasn't had the reps as a team/unit to have any kind of chemistry. They will surely be far behind any team with a bunch of core players returning from previous years. I think the practices have been productive for those that have been consistently attending. I'm not thrilled, but not close to throwing in the towel either. Personally, I look at the fall as preseason for the real season in the spring/summer. I believe there are 18 players on the roster. They said they would not add kids just for the sake of rounding out the roster and it looks like that is the case. As I said the kids at the practices look pretty good to me.

I think its realistic for them to be in the B bracket. Its not realistic to think a brand new organization is going to have the right players to play in A or AA brackets. Those kids are already on A or AA teams and not leaving for a startup regardless of the marketing lure of gear they receive. It will take some time for a well-rounded team to develop. In the meantime, they shouldn't place themselves in a situation where they fail right from the start. From a business perspective, doing that just leads to kids wanting to leave after a year... then its a scramble to field a team again. Separately, it seems odd you feel the need to call out MB... there must be some animosity there -- possibly a former or even current Outlaw?

Are Rebels playing in Tristar Octoberfest? It looks like there won’t be a B division. Registered for , as of now, are: Igloo Dire Wolves, Shore2Shore Raiders, Outlaws, LI rebels, and Long Island Knights. Plus Express Haugen played last year, and many teams are still registering, so one could guess they’ll be back.
Three of those would be legit A teams, so maybe everyone can see how they fare..

Any of those others, no. Probably think you’re kid is an A player and he’s on one of those other squads...so there’s no way he can be on a B team.

Separately, it seems odd you feel the need to call out MB... there must be some animosity there -- possibly a former or even current Outlaw? Im another rebel parent .... And there is defenitely a team. And there never was a thought of combining with 2027. 2027 has a full team. Fall is always tough on practices in any organisation because of other teamsports commitments such as football and soccer most of all. 2026 has had a hard time getting a schedule that works for everyone. So it got off to a slow start. But its coming together. What I can say is Hagens and Schroeder are amazing coaches. And the kids that come work there butts off. And these kids do have 2 practices a week. Many teams only do 1 in the fall. Plus MB has also added 3 October clinics so thats additional time for kids to work on their skills. The goal of course is to be in the A division, but this is the fall and with the slow startup and the need for the kids to gel more, the B division is the right choice for this tournament. Whats good is the decisions are being made based on whats best for the kids, not just because the organisation wants to be listed as an A team on the books. The focus is to create elite teams. That means making the right choices along the way, creating the right path, so the kids improve skillwise, gel as a team, and grow confident. Then they will become an elite team. And when you have concerns, MB, Taylor, and the coaches are always willing to talk and be up front. How many teams that you know have that open communication?

Whoever creatwd the game schedule for Halloween Havoc didnt do a very good job. Epic Jokers only ended up in that championship game because they played the 3 weakest teams for their initial games. If they had played Roar or Greenwich they would have lost. It would have been far more interesting to see those teams against Force in the championship game. The organizers should have recruited one more team and then had an A and B bracket. If not, do a much better job setting up games.

Any post mentioning Epic Jokers is probably relevant here.. plenty of Epic Jokes being posted for this 2026 thread.. seriously, the situation you described happens all too often.. a division with six teams or more, but only three guaranteed games, means some team will miss playing the two best teams.. and if the the two best teams play each other, one probably won’t have a chance to make the final.. maybe they need to seed some of these tournaments?
