The Hawks will beat Roughriders today by double digits. Roughriders have been an annoying little gnat to the Hawks the last couple years. Time to smash the bug tonight What a childish post. The gap you speak of seems to be you and many would love to smash a [ChillLaxin] like you. Time to smash your little ragged as* for a lowlife childish post. Where is the can of Raid spray when you need it! Who is the child? The player who posted the original message or the stunad adult that responded? I would have to say the poster of the original message and you, the clear stunad that just responded. Hawks people are just nasty nasty people. Clearly Hawks should be playing in the 2021 division, that is where most of their 2022 players belong, but Hawks have become king of holdbacks in the HOCO league. Tough when you first wake up in the morning and have no idea how to make a clear and meaningful response.

The Hawks will beat Roughriders today by double digits. Roughriders have been an annoying little gnat to the Hawks the last couple years. Time to smash the bug tonight .... and they're still annoying. Hawks 10, RRers 1. Gosh, that's not double digits, is it. Game was even better than the score indicates. Take away a Hawks extra man goal, 2 that followed on the heels of crap calls by an OJT ref (if he wasn't training on the job, there's no other excuse for him), and a piped shot by the RRers, and the game would have been closer still. Given their talent and ages, Hawks are the better team, should have won, and did. However, the "bug" lives! Tough breaks. HOCO should credit the Riders with a win? If Hawks we will give give those 5 goals you should have had but we will take the 7 or 8 more we could have scored if we wanted so new final 18-6. Congrats Doubt it. The score would have never been 18-6. But, to show how classless Hawks is, they are winning 10-1 with less that 1:30 minutes left in the game and they call a time out. Wanted to run some offense to get another goal. Sorry it didn't work out. Don't even try and suggest they held back from scoring, that is not the mentality of the Hawks 2022 coach. He just want to run up the score anytime he can and pound his chest like he is the greatest coach alive. Sorry, he shows no class whatsoever, never has and never will. He is just so proud of his loaded holdback 2022 team. Go up to 2021 with your holdbacks and see what happens. They would get their butt kicked.

Funny, as a RRer fan, I had nearly the opposite take on the last 2 minutes. Thought the Hawks coach backed off, and tried to run out the clock, vice run up the score. That said, that ref was still terrible , and your 18-6 - stuff it!

But the time out was not for telling his team not to score, they were clearly trying to run an offensive play and it didn't work, RR play good D last minute of game. Agree, Hawks fan can stuff his statement of 18-6. Agree, the one ref was a total nightmare, clearly had no idea what he was doing and just embarrassed himself. He needs to go back to doing 6 year old games to gain more experience, if he ever does get more experience, one never knows with someone like him.

If july and sept birthday both kid are 9 on August 31 so play 9/10 together right.10 months difference. And 20 + if kids turns 11 sept . Point is people that complaining gets you know where and is a crutch, playing up can only help or if your kid is getting run over than and scared then maybe go to AA or A division like the previous guy posted who has young kid playing at 10 months younger or more.
I never once said "unfair" and for anyone who did prek you have zero idea why but at 4 yrs old most of us had no idea what sport our kids would gravitate towards.
Keep making excuses for your child and be will always struggle, any parent wanting to give kid advantage in school i will never argue, especially if itv will benefit academically. Lacrosse is by product and if being older gets him scholarship, good for them. We all want our v kids to be successful. You seem hung up on youth lacrosse or lacrosse in general which will get your child Zippy once he is graduated.. But keep coming on here and making excuses it does not change anything. I hope we can beat a bunch of 18 yr old hawks as you would have them i don't mind playing and losing to older and talented kids.

Koopers hung 20 on API in a slaughter. Koopers and Hawks in top of the class. Madlax , Crabs , DC in tight battle for third and fourth i guess i should have thrown RR in there. DC Express with 2 tough OT losses in back to back weeks , very good team.

RR, 91 and API should have moved down to AA this year so a few other deserving teams could have moved into elite. Who do you see moving up to Elite that is better than RR, 91, or API?

Hawks 10 - 91 MD 3. Game much closer than score. 91 MD goalie played lights out as did the Hawks keepers. Both teams played sloppy on offense. Tough to generate transition offense out of a zone.

Agree. DCE is imploding. Can put games away.... They are hardly "imploding". They lost 2 close games in OT. The holdback advantage is deteriorating now that most other teams are starting to physically mature. That was an advantage for DCE the past few seasons.

Do you even think what you write?? LOL.. . And here we go again..who cares that you did prefirst?? What does prefirst have to do with getting a select advantage in youth lacrosse?? Youth Lacrosse is a byproduct of school???? What does public at large youth lacrosse have to do with school?? Nothing... Only school teams and High School teams are a byproduct and have anything to do with your prek. The best you left for last again.. " Keep making excuses" Now that one is downright Hilarious. You are constantly making excuses for your child that gets an advantage others dont get. He did prek, he did rec 2 year spread, he is only a few months older, etc, etc.. LOL. You got the excuses down.

And to further your proof of being a top level butt head, the name of the club is RoughRiders. It is dbags like you who lower the level and act like a 6 year old.
RughRiders are not regressing, it is most of the team is on age and doesn't have a roster full of hold backs like the 2022 Hawks team. Again, move that team to 2021 and watch what happens. It won't be pretty and you won't like the results. Your hold backs will look below average playing 2021, where most of the 2022 team belongs. I also know they have a double hold back, how pathetic is that.

What did the FCA player do to the 91 kid to cause him to sit out today? The 91 coach was posting about it on twitter. It was a high hit from 91 player against FCA. Millon took to Twitter to continue the farce that he is a leader on youth safety, but that never really pans out for him in real life("BREAK THEIR ARMS") because he needed a win more. He put the player in the game right after the first quarter despite telling the Twitter Universe the player would sit the entire game. The shock it caused among onlookers was almost as fake as the level of morality his Twitter thumbs possess.

I heard the double-holdback drove to one of the games this weekend? They should do the parents a favor and get him to drive the team van back and forth to their two-a-days.

Kids peak in 7th and 8th grade all of the time. It happens in every Program and on every team. Coaching and the quality of competition in practice matters. If you're strong in both areas, players will develop faster and better. Why do you think the Crabs do so well year in and year out. Historically they've attracted the most talent and more importantly they have RM molding them into a unit in the 8th grade. If you have most of the talent in an age group, even if you have some boys who peak earlier, others will take their place. Its called depth.

Classless? Playing only 11-12 kids the entire game leaving 10 kids holding their heads down on bench- Not to mention coach for RR yelling at Hawks bench and screaming like a lunatic which resulted in a bench penalty a lead to a goal for Hawks. Refs were horrible and all can agree on that- as far as your holdback comments go RR has plenty on that team - Hawks coach held back from the 3rd quarter on when he realized how bad his team was playing and that RR could not score on his defense or goalies. Keep up the classy trash taking from the losing sideline. It gives a good chuckle-

Hahaha- mostly on age? Hawks is mostly on age too! Along with DCE, Crabs, FCA, 91, API etc. You have no clue how many are on each team but thanks for admitting RR as them- even though everyone already knew that. Your bitterness towards the Hawks is classless and everyone of your statements mean nothing and are transparent to your bitterness. Hopefully you will get over it.

And if Spalding is dumb enough to hire R as head coach he will insist that they move to MIAA-B so he will have a chance to win a few games. His ego is usually out of control and he will do nothing but ruin Spalding's lacrosse program. He is no where near qualified to coach at any MIAA level, he would even struggle at the public high school level. He can just stay with the Annapolis Crap Birds and play his holdback game and think he is a great lacrosse mind.

A stunad convention in RughRider land So Spalding is a top lacrosse high school now? Is this a joke? Or another pipe dream that when 2022 Hawks coach takes over Spalding program that they won’t stink? May want to check your intell on where RR kids will be in HS. Plenty already at MIAA A conference schools and will stay there.[/quote] What a stunad. Maybe they are already at Miaa schools but they weren't recruited there. Look, I respect what you did the last 2 years. You played us better than anyone even the Long Island teams. You had 2 or 3 of the better players we faced. You just peaked and regressed it happens just like the API clowns. We keep getting better every day while you keep charging money and cancelling practices or only have half the team show up. It shows on the scoreboard. Why is that no Roughriders have ever shown up at a Hawks tryout? They would actually have to come to practice and give effort all the time. You have become a 2k per year rec program. Probably why several teams including hs folded

I though the better Hawks kids where going to St. John's. That leaves Spalding with Hawks backups

Looks like the Hawks, Madlax, Crabs and Koopers should be Elite A...all the other teams should be competing in Elite B....would make for a better season for all involved

Here is another tweet/poll from the 91MD coach: Serious question. If your son/daughter played on a team would you rather win and play like a bunch of bush leaguers or lose and play with fundamentals like a real team? 08% Bush league short term 92% Fundamentals big picture 205 votes

Koopers hung 20 on API in a slaughter. Koopers and Hawks in top of the class. Madlax , Crabs , DC in tight battle for third and fourth i guess i should have thrown RR in there. DC Express with 2 tough OT losses in back to back weeks , very good team. Surprisingly the best kids on the Slainte/Koopers 21/Dukes team from this weeked were the Bucktown and Philly Freedom kids. The MD Koopers kids have skills but are such ball hogs, they run into the pile and get it checked away most of the time. The 4/28 Koopers vs Hawks game will be a great one if Slainte/Koopers 21/Dukes can get everyone into town from Long Island, Philly, North Carolina, etc.
