So, based on early games lets look at how teams have performed relative to expectations:
Massapequa - not dominant
West Islip - lopsided loss to expected mediocre F'dale team
Smithtown E - bad occ loss
Locust Valley - rocked by medioce port team
GC - rocked by very good suffolk team and loss great MD team but spanked over rated syosset
St. A's - surprising loss
Sayville- spanked in opener

Manhasset + 0-2 but close games one of which against supposedly the best in nassau
Farmingdale + nice occ win
Port Washington + spanked lv
CSH+ was underdog against manhasset
Smithtown W + GC beat down
Chaminade + spanked strong MD team OCC
Rocky Point+ gave HHHW all tehy could handle

If you're giving credit to Farmingdale for a lopsided win over WI, how can you not be down on Farmingdale for close game with Carey?? F'Dale in line for 4th or 5th place finish in Conf A

Is Smithtown East the quasimoto or the cinderella of the Smithtowns? we'll find out today.

Carey is usually competitive, but yes, weighted F'dale's rather decisive victory over perennially strong WI program more.

F'dAle WILL BE 3rd or 4th in conference A. 99% confidence in that. More likely upside surprise than downside.

Maybe WI is still on the way down.

HHHW will be in many games like this. Young team, with a lot of heart. Penalties killed them and that kept Rocky Point in this game. Rocky Point fogo is really good, and HHHW did a great job of containing him. Will be an interesting season.

rocky pt team not very good. m.c. out shot r.p. by 30% and won more face offs. rp goalie play kept them from loosing!.

LV's 2019, 2020, and 2021 classes are probably better stocked in terms of quality players.

2014. Started 0-2, went 13-7 and lost to Smithtown East in County Championship, beating Ward Melville and Smithtown West in playoffs. No need to panic yet.

Wow Smithtown East did not look good at all. Total different team than the past super flat. Very young team.

hills east didn't lose the game. they won 7-6 with 10 seconds left. And the reason the game was that tight was because f the Northport goalie who had 15 saves.
