A team in the middle of that pack may surprise some people this year. The Biggest Surprise this year will be how far Team 91 at the 2022 level has fallen off from last year. HoCo should help those 91 kids out this year and set up a podium and some chairs on the turf between the fields for after their games.

There should not be any surprises with these teams. This is the year that this level will be the most competitive it has ever been. The only surprises will be if a team completely tanks it. Expect the best from all these programs . Looking forward to seeing them all play at the highest level in the country week after week. Hands down the toughest completion in the country. Agreed

91 has a faceoff kid who is very good. The kids who left were not the “top” players. I saw 91 play last Fall and they struggled with FO; thought that was their biggest weakness on that particular day. If that is the case I am sure MM is already looking for another kid. Defensively and in Goal they looked solid.

BLC didn't play NL Last year, still made playoff's after going thru the hardest schedule. Great competition weekly trumps bitching about strength of schedule. Suspect FCA will be much improved, as they were towards the end of the year last year and in the fall. FOGO is a stud, and they have size and skill all over the field. 91's D is as athletic as it gets, and the hawks are skilled and deep. Going to be some classic battles, as the talent, coaching, and competition at this level in HOCO is the best 2022 lacrosse league in the country. Will be interesting to see if Baltimore will be able to crown a champion at any of the levels....been a while vs the MOCO teams and Hawks. No disputing Hawks have been the most successful program for a few years.

Hardly can believe that it is possible to post something logical and reasonable without mentioning something childish or even worse. As noted, 2022 Elite is stacked from top to bottom with REAL lacrosse players. If all of them were thrown into a pool, and a common draft was to occur, I feel strongly that parity would exist. It should be a great year and all of us -- no matter our club affiliation -- should enjoy it, as it is a precursor to watching teammates play with OR against each other for the next 4 years when they enter high school.

This! I am reminded of a movie called "Finding Bobby Fisher" about kids playing competitive chess. At one point, a tournament organizer is forced to lock the parents out of the building so that the kids could just compete in peace. Shame on all and everyone of us that contributes to a toxic environment knowingly and/or unknowingly. Let's check our egos at the door this year and let these kids play, be competitive but also mutually supportive, and as others have pointed out, help our kids create, develop and nurture relationships they will shortly experience during their high school years as the play against the best lacrosse competition at any level in this country. That is a legacy we can all work towards building.

Dukes/Koopers - hold DCE - buy Crabs - hold Hawks - buy RR - hold FCA - buy 91MD - sell MadLax - sell API - hold Next Level - sell Coaching actually matters at this level so the rec posers at some of these programs will be exposed this year. Look for RM to weave his magic with the Crabs. Expect a well disciplined team with great fundamentals.

But people need to take a step back and enjoy how good these kids are and how even the best teams can get upset...great site but an enormous amount of parent stupidity...

Oh yeah most of us already signed some agreement that this is travel and we play to win. Some of the best games have been up north vs LI and NJ teams. Players play and parents get to talk as much [lacrosse] as they want. Thousands a year spent on lacrosse you bet your [lacrosse] I'm going to talk [lacrosse] at the games and on this forum. If you want peace and quiet go have your kid join the chess club.
