Hey guys! I am working with the NCAA this year to help promote the Men's National Championship. Any advice how to get the word out to teams?
Any help is much appreciated. E-mail: michelle.wagner@ncaafrmc.com Phone: (215) 259-5693

When they had it in Baltimore, there was a group ticket package that also was conected to a youth lacrosse tournament, I think the Ravens were involed, the kids would play on Saturday, then see the games, & some teams were selected to play a game in the stadium.

We have some of the same things again this year! The group ticket package is a great way to save a lot of money and insure sitting with your friends. There is also a fanfest that takes place in which kids are able to meet PRO players and even possibly get autographs! The tournaments are usually not sanctioned by the NCAA, but take place alongside the Championship weekend.

Free beer would definitely bring out a lot of people to any event haha. Does anyone ever pay attention to the flyers posted at training facilities?

Free beer would definitely bring out a lot of people to any event haha. Does anyone ever pay attention to the flyers posted at training facilities? Our research here on BOTC demonstrates that posted flyers are not the answer - newsletter coverage, e-mail campaigns and coverage, along with a discussion of relevant and related activities - is the answer to this type of event marketing. (And to Our BOTC Readers : No, free beer is not the answer or the secret sauce! )

I agree with you completely. Free incentives are not the answer. Just getting more awareness of the event is all I can ask for.
