Heard their goalie left. Hard to be the team to beat with a new goalie. Plus they lost their FOGO who is really good. Will be hard for MM to replace that position. But no matter, as long as his son has the ball and is shooting all is good with MM. Almost every play is designed to get his son the ball so he can shoot. Kind of pathetic.

Just like last year there will be a ton of very competitive games this fall, spring and summer. This fall will be a good indicator on what teams will need to work on for the spring season.

If your team lost good players or didn't gain better players than you are playing catch up. The teams that actually gained better players have improved without even being coached yet. Those that lost the good players and couldn't keep them or didn't upgrade are going to have a tough time. If a player left a club to join another it usually means some where it wasn't working. Wether it is the coaching or playing time. To not be able and keep your studs speaks volumes about that team. After this year all the teams will be changing just because of the High School landscape makes it so, but this year teams that have stayed intact and gained good players have there advantage right from the start.

Who cares? If Cavalier is playing in it, you know it's a terrible bracket and/or tournament.

I think there is little debate that Hawks are the best team in this grade. Are they the best at recruiting talented players or is the coaching that good?

I think there is little debate that Hawks are the best team in this grade. Are they the best at recruiting talented players or is the coaching that good? Could be either but they have a good number of holdbacks at this age (2022) and that really helps. The denials ill soon start but it is a known fact they have quite a few holdbacks, seems more that other clubs at this age.

I think there is little debate that Hawks are the best team in this grade. Are they the best at recruiting talented players or is the coaching that good? You take the best kids from the NPYLL championship winning Cannons and add them to a pretty good Hawks team and you get a really great team. Then add a couple kids reclassing from Crabs 2021 and you get an even better team. So recruiting played a big part.

Have you seen there coaching staff? Pretty impressive just like almost every other top elite team . The age group has a ton of very good coaches and support from every level of lacrosse. HAWKS,API,91,FCA,DCE,RR,Crabs.all top teams in elite level have holdbacks and it's no secret to anyone. Who cares if a team might have 1 more than another team. Unless you are speaking for a specific team and know exactly the rosters, making comments about a roster at this level is petty. All these teams will be very good and will be hard to beat. Great competition all around.

Great competition all around. I don't think coaching has had much of an impact. The best kids 4 years ago are the best kids now. Dads are responsible for most of the player development at this age. Collecting the talent on to one team accounts for which is the best team.

Cavalier 2022 wins the 1st tournament of the fall. Look for them to be a force this spring. Agreed. Big time win over FCA to win the championship. Beating a big time club like FCA gives our boys tons of confidence. Several ofbus are lobbying to play AA in HoCo this spring.

If you didn't know, FCA is an excellent club that is always among the best.

They do have a FOGO now at least and RM has brought a couple kids in from Texas and one from California to try to help. Not sure how often the out of state kids will be there. Best player on the team is a 2023 playing up. RM will do whatever he has to in order to make sure a team he coaches is competitive.

I'm guessing they will continue to upgrade their roster and use they seasoned coaching staff to "coach them up".
