Spin that haters Nothing to spin. Nice to see a NY team win it two years in a row playing 14 year olds. But Igloo is still pompous. All the best to their goalie

Igloo parents sound a lot like 9D1 parents did before combining for a WS super team. Used to be a classy organization but winning turned the parents toxic. Sad day when it should be about the kids winning one for their fallen goalie. Instead, jackass parents make this about them. There are a few former 9D1 parents on the team so not a surprise. Something about those Long Island clubs.

Skull and cross bones nation is growing whether we are an A or B team. Who cares. Play, have fun, bring your red solo and enjoy. It's life style. Nice to see more and more of the skull and cross bones tats on the small of the mom's backs as well. Cult is growing. B player Igloo/91/Express castoffs welcome along with the crazy moms.

Sorry to break up this AA team conversation. My son can't make one of those teams, and would ride the pine if he did. What are the good 2nd teams. And not just ability, coaching, commitment to the team, etc. Please refrain from the wise the cracks as you begin to type. Thanks.
I know Igloo accomplished this very successfully. Who else is on that trajectory. And who can share what Igloo successful.

I know Igloo accomplished this very successfully. Who else is on that trajectory. And who can share what Igloo successful. Playing on a second team within an organization is probably not your better bet - those teams seem to get second string status to their better counterpart within their organizations, and then when they feel like it, they bring boys from their top team down to their lower team to win - this displaces playing time for players that are ACTUALLY on the second team and is antithetical to the whole idea of having the second team. Igloo did that yesterday with Black Ice players playing with Avalanche yesterday. You're better off being on the top or only team in an organization that might be hair below the top teams.

"Winning while cheating" and crowing about it. I'm talking about the adults. You would think such an exalted organization would know how to adequately field a team, and not cry about people hating them when they decide that the rules everyone else has to play by don't apply to them. Their boys are talented enough to have had one of their own on-roster players play in goal and still win. Especially if their contention is that the "substitute" was "two years younger and not even a goalie." The coaches actions cheated the boys out of celebrating a true win (you know, by the rules). Probably would have won anyway--but still rings a little hollow. Parents, you should really just tone "your" championship down a bit. But nice work to a hard working and talented group of boys.
