From afar, Chammy looks deeper. Loaded at every position. Could be wrong here, but better Coaching gives WM a slight edge. 9-8 WM. May the best team win. Surely a display of some of LI's best. Good Luck to both teams. I will be watching on MSG Varsity.

I heard nothing but how good Ward Melville is and nobody will beat them. I also heard Chaminade was overrated Well after yesterday I think the opposite Chaminade coming together and Ward Melville overrated. I think WM only had the ball for 2min in the first quarter. Chaminade hit a few pipes or it would have been over. 2nd half refs decided to call a different game and started throwing flags. HOW DOES THE SAME REF GET TO DO WM GAMES ? He has done 3 games this year.
As for the WM parents they were frustrated and did not see this coming. They were ok but the knucklehead students or older brothers along the fence were the ones causing problems yelling at people

I don't know about your analysis but I was at the game and WM is a very good public school and Chaminade is a very good private school. The difference is always depth and it showed. To me the better team won. Overrated is a bit much to pin on WM, their goal is to win Suffolk and go on from there. Why are you making excuses when you won the game...pipes & referee?

WM parents can't wait for the psycho dad and mom to leave they are an embarrassment to be around. We try and sit as far away from them as possible.

Maybe...but can they get in to Duke? 2.5 GPA, 980 SAT and 100MPH shot wont cut it...just sayin'

TR is not mailing it in. He's a great coach. He can only do so much with the talent he has. Just because a player is committed doesn't mean there are not better players out there that are not committed. We do know that many commits (not all) are about who you know not how you play. TR has great coaches working with his team and is 100% commited to his program. It's amazing that when a program that has a great coach but doesn't have good players and coach is to blame. You can't get blood from a stone. It's his 2nd year there. There are many schools that would live to have TR as a coach.So many of these commits are just not as good as they are hyped up to be. They might have been bigger and faster in 9th or 10th grade because they were more mature physically or had better stick skills because they were trained well by dad at an early age. Eventually kida catch up physically, athletically, and skills wise. Take them away from their club team where they are surrounded by other great players they are just average on their own.

Your right, those kids were the tops a couple years, ago. But have now become average players on the field. Still good players but not superstars anymore. They have been passed by. Many better players standing out over them. They should be happy they were recruited early, otherwise they'd be headed to Mt. St. Marys
