That's what is wrong with lax today. Players and parents don't care about team they are only concerned with themselves.

Team lost but my kid scored 2 goals and an assist. He was great rest of team was horrible.

That's not all that is wrong with lacrosse.
Have to hold head coaches accountable all they care about is their legacy instead of trying to mole young players into team players.

It is early in the season, resurrecting an oldie but goodie...

A 5 goal difference is a good win but not a blow out. (6 or more can be classified a blow out whether a second half blow out or outright blow out)
A 3 goal game is generally a great game. Just want to be on the winning side of those.
12-9 games are generally great offensive games,
6-5 games can be great defensive games but can all to often be bad offensive games.
An offense that can score 10 is good (love the saying first one to 10 wins)
offensive player that can provide 3 points a game is real good
A defense that can hold a team below 10 is good
defensive player that can hoover up 3 Gb and 2 CTO is real good
A goalie that saves >11 is real good
a goalie and def that saves < 40% needs work
F/O 70% is real good, 50% avg, any less needs work
Many times Intangibles win games

Good post, not sure I agree with the goalie save percentage, otherwise think you are spot on. (No, not a goalie dad)

Id agree and add, a good goalie makes you try and pick the corners which often, makes those shots go (in my best Bob Uecker voice) "just a bit outside". But id still rather have a shot go outside and be backed up than in the goalies stick for a TO.
