2017 Lacrosse New Year's Resolution ... stop the BOTC hate That's Stupid? What happen? Your kid get cut in 2016?? Typical response from a sh*thead who has no idea how to act in a civil manner. Probably knows thing about lacrosse, just likes to go to any anonymous forums to trash anything they can. Bet if you had to register and post your name you wouldn't be acting like an as*hole, which no doubt you are. So he got cut ? Your kid must be so proud of his daddy, acting like a complete as*hole. Bet you act the same way at his games when he gets very little, if any, playing time on a c division team. Since you asked, no, he has never been cut and plays aa division and runs first midfield. Sorry your kid can't keep up. Kids couldn't care about any of this nonsense

Spillina showing class down at [lacrosse]'s Bandits only won by 18 Typical dirt bag. Not sticking up for the guy, but that is what happens when goal differential is a tie breaker. Blame the tournament Have not seen a tournament yet that does not max out the number at 8 or 9 goals per game. Trust me this guy is not thinking about tie breakers when he's beating 11 year olds by 18 goals!! Can't you see, he's teaching the kids that they need to work harder. Like the kids that are carrying his kid are! So your saying young JS isn't that good and shouldn't have made the all tournament team at Dicks? I would hope so. Oldest kid there. Barely made the 6/1 cutoff

The teams are great and equally matched and are the best. For me I am focused on my kid being happy and enjoying it (no not the dad of the kid who got cut from the A team) Having gone through this with an older boy, you want them enjoying it. My oldest is a Jr, you think he cares that Extreme was the #1 2018 team when he was in 7th grade and his team lost to them more than once. No... he doesn't even think about it. I hope he just has good memories of youth sports and all those mornings, nights, and weekends we spent focused on lax he grows to appriciate it. Thankfully he still loves the game and will play on the next level. So true

Interesting to see if dukes national gets in any relevant tournaments this summer or will they go and feast on low level tournaments Same Dad just can't stop ripping on The Dukes! You can't let it go, can you? You're still upset the invitation never came. You will never admit it but instead you will continue to spread your resentment. Just get over it. Not happening The invitation goes out to all to join the academy. It depends on the tournament and other club conflicts as to whether or not you get invited to play. You're wrong. Stop trying to make yourself feel better

#1 based on what? Th isn't the NCAA bowl championship series. It's club lacrosse that you pay through the nose for. Give me a break, remember, there is no ranking for club, only High School then college. So really, it doesn't matter Based on performance at A level tournaments against top competition. Express beat the top teams all summer and igloo beat them all this fall. Pretty easy to make the call.

Igloo beat them easily in blatant finals. Score was 8-5. Express scored 2 late goals to make it close. If express doesn't win faceoffs (and they didn't) they are not much better than most of these top teams if at all. And the faceoff aspect has caught up to them big time.

Great talent all the way around. All talent evened out. Easy win...no way...as evidenced by the penguin and the other crazies losing their minds on the sidelines. Relax and let the rest of the year play out. Igloo was an afterthought before they got the 9-1 refugees.

Igloo is a team that has a core of kids that have been playing together for 5 years .Its taken some time but these kids have developed into a team that has a well disciplined and patient offense and very good defense. They play together as a team ,they are well coached and no selfish play. That's why that this team will be very competitive this year. Igloo does not have to count on 2 or 3 boys to carry them in certain games all the boys contribute. Yes Fall ball doesn't mean much but kind of sets the tone for the spring season. With that being said good luck to all 2022 this season ton of talent in this group, and remember in a few years when some of these boys are going to the next level, no college is gonna care what club team u played for or how many tournys you win. In the long run Its all about your son getting better on the field and more importantly in the class room..

Agreed. Express parent here. I think KC needed a year of getting to know the boys. Combine a solid core team, quality new additions and the best club coach out there, they will be tough to beat this coming season. Other teams do tend to focus on 2/3 key players. KC has Igloo playing like a team. I believe they will have much success this spring/summer.

When the talent between these teams becomes separated by coaching and Igloo, in my opinion, has the best coach. Express practice is a bunch of the same drills.

Same drills over and over gets redundant and they aren't "teaching" anything new.. No new secrets to teach. It's called hard work and repitiotion. The better kids and better teams are ones who do the boring drills over and over.

Best kid on LI goes to whomever has a clinic when free repitions is key. Why do you hunk a player can't do a clinic from a rival. The parents are smart to diversify. Go to as many clinics as you can afford they do help. Pricey but help.

Aa is starting to see the effects as his teams are growing older His club does not have access to featured summer events that are swarmed w coaches. HHH, NLF events Crabfeast. So it is shrinking the opportunity for his kids to be seen. This is why he is trying to create his own event. Which is smart if he can do it. It was my main concern keeping my son with his older igloo team. Time will tell
